Systems and methods of treating proprioceptive dysfunction and vestibular disorders
The systems, methods, apparatuses, and articles disclosed herein provide a new approach to treatment symptoms, such as proprioceptive dysfunction and vestibular disorders, which may be caused by certain types of human ailments. According to the present disclosure, a wearable article may include one or more limb sections and a resilient member may be provided along a length of each of the one or more limb sections and configured to generate a resistance force. Adjustments to the resistance force provided by the resilient member(s) may be adjusted using cord locks. As a user wearing the wearable article moves, the resistance force is applied to the user's limbs. Strain gauges may be provided to measure the resistance force(s), which enables verification that the resilient members are sized and configured to provide an appropriate amount of resistance force to a user and may improve programs and regimens designed to treat such ailments.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEVICES BASED ON ACCUMULATION OF INPUT
A system is disclosed. The system has an accessory control module, comprising computer-executable code stored in non-volatile memory, a memory for storing instructions and a processor for executing the instructions, a user device of a user, and an accessory configured to communicate with the user device. The accessory control module, the memory and the processor, the user device, and the accessory are configured to accumulate receipt of one or more input parameters, determine whether an accumulation satisfies a preset condition, wherein the preset condition includes at least one of a preset receiving quantity of the one or more input parameters, a preset receiving sum of values of the one or more input parameters, or a preset time duration of the accumulation, and in response to the accumulation satisfying the preset condition, send a control signal to actuate the accessory to perform a series of predefined acts, wherein the series of predefined acts is configured to sexually stimulate the user.
FURNITURE FOOT WITH INTEGRATED SLIDE MECHANISM
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to adjustable chairs with a plurality of adjustment points to facilitate enhanced user mobility and increase a user's physical activity through guided exercises and stretches. In one example embodiment, a chair is disclosed including a lifting mechanism to assist a user from a seating to a standing position and facilitates standing stretches through a number of motion and rotation mechanisms.
Apparatus for toning a person's buttocks
An apparatus for toning an exerciser's buttocks comprises, a base having a front end region and a rear end region; a seat guide; and a force-transmitting mechanism for supporting the seat guide on the base for guided movement under tension from a raised position, along an forward inclined trajectory in which the seat guide is continuously lowered in elevation to a lowered position. The exerciser sits on the seat guide and controls its downward and upward motion by tensioning and thereby exercising the users gluteus maximus, medius, and gluteus minimus muscles.
Scalp massager
A scalp massager, including: a housing, a motor, a transmission assembly, and a plurality of massaging head assemblies drive by the transmission assembly. The transmission assembly includes: a worm-and-gear speed reduction assembly and a plurality of driving gears driven by the worm-and-gear speed reduction assembly and horizontally arranged inside the housing. Each of the massaging head assemblies includes: a rocker, a fixing assembly, and a massaging head. The rocker passes through the fixing assembly, an upper end of the rocker is inclinedly inserted into a corresponding driving gear, an intermediate section of the rocker is provided with a ball which is rotatably arranged inside the fixing assembly, a lower end of the rocker protrudes out of the housing, and the massaging head is fixed on the lower end of the rocker.
Massage apparatus
An apparatus is provided for massaging having a body with a handle and a distal end, and a rigid support movably attached to the body and having a surface. The apparatus is sized to contact the user between the distal end and the surface. The user may then adjust the a force by moving the handle relative to the surface to apply a force to the user's body.
Augmenting human motion
A system for augmenting the motion of a person includes an assistance apparatus with a first attachment for connecting the assistance apparatus to a first point on the person's body, a second attachment for connecting the apparatus to a second point on the person's body, an actuator for applying force between the first and second attachment points, the force augmenting motion of a part of the body, and a set of sensors detecting reaction force on the person's body when moving in the manner that the actuator augments. A control system implements a negative feedback loop, in which the force applied by the actuator is based on a weighted sum of measurements from the sensors, and is updated continuously based on the sensor measurements.
Walking assistance apparatus and control method
A walking assistance apparatus includes a suit to be worn on a knee and waist of a user, a first wire that couples a portion included in the suit and worn above the knee to a portion included in the suit and worn on the waist, a second wire that couples a portion included in the suit and worn above a back of the knee to a portion included in the suit and worn on the waist, and motors coupled to the first and second wires. The motors are controlled to generate tensions so that each of the first and second wires has a stiffness greater than 200 N/m during a first period including a period of 95% or more and 100% or less of a first gait cycle of the user and a period of 0% or more and 50% or less of a second gait cycle subsequent to the first gait cycle.
