Disclosed is a laundry treating apparatus including a cabinet having a front face with a drawer hole defined therein, and a rear cover for forming a rear face of the cabinet, a drawer including a drawer body, a drawer cover, and a cover through-hole defined to penetrate the drawer cover, a tub including a tub body, a tub cover for forming a top face of the tub body, and an inlet defined to penetrate the tub cover, a drum rotatably disposed in the tub, wherein the drum accommodates laundry, a door for closing the inlet, and a door guide for providing a path for the door to reciprocate between a first point where the inlet is closed and a second point where the inlet is opened in a space defined between the tub cover and the drawer cover.

A deflector assembly for an appliance includes a deflector having a rim forming a geometric shape and configured to engage a panel and a chute extending from a portion of the rim. The chute includes an upper surface that extends at an oblique angle from the rim. A lighting unit has a light source. A laundry treating appliance having a door assembly with an inner door frame. One or more mechanical fasteners extending the inner door frame so secure one of a hinge or handle to the door frame. Hinge and handle covers are adhesively bonded to the inner door frame to cover the one or more mechanical fasteners. A user interface controller is affixed to the door frame through an aperture in an inner door subassembly. A touch film having an integrated flexible printed circuit board with touch buttons is in communication with and configured to control the user interface controller. The touch film is adhered to the interior surface of the outer screen door.

A clothes separating device and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device according to this disclosure are provided with a separator that operates to grip clothes in a washing tub and to separate, from the gripped clothes, another item of clothes entwined with the gripped clothes. In this manner, a user does not need to separate a plurality of individual items of clothes before folding the clothes. Hence, it is possible to provide the clothes separating device that contributes to reducing a burden of work related to laundry and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device.
