UV-TREATMENT IN INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY ON INTERMITTENT WASHING SYSTEMS
The present invention relates to a method for washing textiles in an intermittent washing system using UV radiation, to a device for carrying out the method, and to the use of UV radiation, in particular UV-C radiation, in methods for washing textiles in intermittent washing systems.
DETERGENT SUPPLY APPARATUS AND WASHING MACHINE HAVING SAME
A washing machine includes a cabinet; a tub in the cabinet; and a detergent supply apparatus which supplies detergent to the tub and includes: a housing; a detergent box configured to be inserted into the housing and thereby docked to the detergent pump so that detergent in the detergent box is suctionable by the detergent pump and then dischargeable by the detergent pump into the housing and configured to be withdrawn from the housing and thereby undocked from the detergent pump; and an auxiliary tank which in the housing, configured to store water, and to, when the detergent box is being withdrawn from the housing, drain water stored in the auxiliary tank to a bottom of the housing so that detergent from the discharge pump falls into the water on the bottom of the housing.
WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE AND ADDITIVE ASSEMBLY
A washing machine appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a wash basket, a drawer, an air inlet, and an air outlet. The cabinet defining an opening to receive articles therethrough. The tub being positioned within the cabinet. The wash basket being rotatably mounted within the tub. The wash basket defining a wash chamber for receiving articles for washing. The drawer mounted to the cabinet. The drawer defining a compartment to receive a scent additive therein. The air inlet line extending from the compartment in downstream fluid communication with the wash chamber to direct air therefrom. The air outlet line extending to the compartment in upstream fluid communication with the wash chamber to direct air thereto.
Laundry treatment apparatus
A laundry treatment apparatus is disclosed, including a cabinet, a tub configured to store water, a drum rotatably disposed inside the tub, a drawer configured to be withdrawable from the cabinet, a housing including a housing body configured to accommodate the drawer and a cover configured to form an upper surface of the housing body, a storage portion including a storage body configured to store liquid detergent and a discharger disposed on the storage body, a supply pump including a connection pipe formed through the housing body, a supply pipe configured to connect the connection pipe and the tub body, and a conveyor portion configured to covey detergent to the supply pipe, a first pump fastener configured to fix an area located above the connection pipe to the cover, and a second pump fastener configured to fix an area located under the connection pipe to the housing body.
Dispenser assembly and washing machine
Provided is a dispenser assembly. The dispenser assembly includes a handle; a waterproof box, where a gap is disposed between the waterproof box and a dispenser; and a first block rib that is disposed inside the waterproof box and at one end of the waterproof box adjacent to the handle of the dispenser, where the first block rib is configured to prevent liquid from overflowing from the gap.
Storage container and clothes treating machine including the same
A storage container and a clothes treating machine having the same are described. A discharge inclined portion is formed on a lower side of a storage container. The discharge inclined portion is inclined from one side to another side in a lengthwise direction. Therefore, a clothes treatment agent accommodated in the storage container can flow from the one side to the another side along the discharge inclined portion. Also, a check valve is partially accommodated in a space partially surrounded by the second bottom surface, so as to allow the clothes treatment agent collected in the space to be discharged. Accordingly, an amount of clothes treatment agents remaining inside the storage container can be minimized.
Washing machine and control method of same
A washing machine of the present disclosure includes: a tub in which water is stored; a drum which is rotatably provided in the tub, and accommodates laundry; and a detergent supply device which supplies a liquid additive to the tub, wherein the detergent supply device includes: a cartridge which contains the additive; a pump which extracts the additive contained in the cartridge; an outlet flow path pipe which is connected to the cartridge, and through which the extracted additive flows toward the tub; and a flow path pipe sensor which is installed in the outlet flow path pipe, and detects an existence of the additive in the outlet flow path pipe.
RETROFIT AUXILIARY DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING OPERATIONS OF A CLEANING APPLIANCE
A retrofit auxiliary device that supports operations of at least one cleaning appliance. The retrofit auxiliary device including at least one fluid channel and a device controller. The device controller being communicatively coupled to the at least one cleaning appliance to monitor or control the operation of the at least one cleaning appliance, and a user display.
Dispensing system for transferring chemical into a strainer basket assembly
A strainer basket system may include a reservoir in which a strainer basket is positioned and a chemical dispensing docking station. The chemical dispensing docking station may have a cavity that receives a container of chemical to be dispensed and a retention mechanism that is configured to mechanically engage and retain the container of chemical, when inserted into the cavity. The docking station may also include a piercing member positioned to pierce the container of chemical as the container of chemical is inserted into the cavity, thereby releasing chemical into the reservoir and/or strainer basket.
Drawer and clothes treating machine including the same
A support member and a clothes treating machine having the same are described. A support member supports a dispenser assembly, in which a drawer is inserted, from a rear side. The support member is inserted through a rear surface of a housing. A support hollow portion is formed in one side of the support member facing the dispenser assembly. A rear protrusion of the dispenser assembly is inserted into the support hollow portion. With the configuration, a rear side of the dispenser assembly is supported by the support member. Therefore, the dispenser assembly can be stably supported. Also, a support rib portion extends from an outer circumference of the support member in a lengthwise direction. Accordingly, rigidity of the support member in the lengthwise direction can be reinforced. Therefore, the support rib portion can stably support the dispenser assembly.
