The communication assembly includes a communicating pipeline coupling the first water intake assembly and the second water intake assembly, and a connection control valve controlling the communicating pipeline to be connected or disconnected. The joint between the first water intake assembly and the communication pipeline is located between the first flow limiting member and the second flow limiting member.

A baffle board is pivoted and installed in the feeding chamber for preventing water from flowing to a water outlet. A gap portion is formed on the baffle board, and an inlet water flow of the water box flows to the gap portion of the baffle board that is open when the baffle board is pivoted, and the inlet water flow washes a bottom wall of the feeding chamber below the baffle board after passing through the baffle board from the gap portion, and opening the baffle board. Via the above arrangement, residue of washing powder at the water outlet of the feeding chamber shielded by the baffle board is prevented.

A dispenser box assembly for a laundry appliance that includes a dispenser housing and a lid. The dispenser housing includes one or more housing walls that define a main chamber. The lid is attached to the housing walls and includes an in-lid reservoir. The in-lid reservoir includes an inlet section that is arranged in fluid communication with water inlet ports in the dispenser housing and a diffuser section with an outlet that is arranged in fluid communication with the main chamber. An air port that is open to the atmosphere is arranged in fluid communication with the main chamber such that the main chamber is open to atmospheric pressure and produces a water pressure drop between the water inlet ports and a water outlet port at the bottom of the main chamber.

A washing feeding device includes a water box, and a feeding box installed in the water box; at least one feeding chamber is arranged in the feeding box. A baffle board is pivoted and installed in the feeding chamber for preventing water from flowing to a water outlet. A gap portion is formed on the baffle board, and an inlet water flow of the water box flows to the gap portion of the baffle board that is open when the baffle board is pivoted, and the inlet water flow washes a bottom wall of the feeding chamber below the baffle board after passing through the baffle board from the gap portion, and opening the baffle board. Via the above arrangement, residue of washing powder at the water outlet of the feeding chamber shielded by the baffle board is prevented.

The method includes: performing a tub loading process comprising operating supply valve(s) to provide a first volume of water through a detergent supply system and into a tub to fill the tub with wash liquid; performing a washing process comprising rotating a drum to agitate laundry in in the presence of the wash liquid; performing a static rinsing process comprising operating a pump to remove a free volume of wash liquid from the tub without rotating the drum; and performing one or more rinsing processes comprising: operating the supply valve(s) to provide a volume of clean rinse water to the tub, operating the pump to remove the rinse water from the drum, and operating the motor to spin the drum at high speed to extract rinse water from the laundry, while continuing to operate the pump.
