COMPRESSION GARMENT COMPLIANCE
Determining whether a compression garment is worn by a wearer of the garment by analyzing a pressure signal waveform indicative of a fluid pressure in an inflatable and deflatable bladder of the compression garment. Variance detected in the pressure signal waveform during the analysis is indicative of a change in condition of the compression garment. In one aspect the change in condition is verified using confirmatory analysis. In another aspect, the variance is one of a pressure rise and a pressure impulse. In yet another aspect, the variance is an oscillating amplitude as a function of time representative of a pulse of the wearer.
Head and neck compression garment
Compression garments and methods may include a head garment configured to be positioned around both sides of a head of a body from a posterior of the head to an anterior of the head (e.g., wherein the head garment may include a plurality of controllable head pressure applying regions positionable proximate at least cheeks and a posterior of the head) and a neck garment (e.g., coupled to the head garment). The compression garments and methods may also include a torso garment. Such garment portions may include one or more controllable pressure applying regions to move lymph from the head downward.
ADJUSTABLE COMPRESSION GARMENT
Compression garments may include mitts and tightening apparatus to don, or put on, such compression garments. The mitts may be configured to receive a user's hand such that the user can move one or more portions of the garments using the mitts. The tightening apparatus may allow a user to selectively tighten or loosen the garments about the user's body portions. Once donned, the compression garments may apply pressure to one or more regions of the user's body such as, e.g., arm regions, shoulder regions, torso regions, and neck regions.
DEVICE FOR MASSAGING AND STRETCHING CERTAIN BODY PARTS
A device comprising at least two ferrules, which may have a first ferrule (3) and a second ferrule (4), joined by elements by programmable elastic means (5) in the manner of elastic rods or straps with shape memory, wherein each ferrule (3) (4) has a housing (3.1) (4.1) for housing vibration-generating means (6) and (7) fed by means of cables (6.1) and (7.1), respectively, by a control unit which is in charge of controlling and adjusting vibration intensity, phase and speed, wherein the programmable elastic means is preferably a nickel-titanium alloy, and may be compressed air. A device is obtained that is simple to implement and apply in the treatment of arthritis and arthrosis disorders.
Massage machine
The massage machine includes a massage unit for treating a treatment target person, a first drive unit for driving the massage unit in a direction facing a treatment site of at least the treatment target person, and a control unit that controls driving of at least the first drive unit. The massage unit is configured to include a treatment unit in an articulated structure with at least two or more joints, and a second drive unit that drives the treatment unit in the direction facing the treatment target site of the treatment target person. The at least the two or more joints are shifted from each other in a direction intersecting a longitudinal direction of the treatment target site.
Therapeutic pressure, thermal, and/or other treatment modality systems and methods
Systems and methods described herein include a pressure delivery component that has a pressure applicator configured to selectively apply therapeutic pressure to a treatment portion of a user body, and also includes a thermal delivery component that has a thermal applicator that is a configured to apply thermal treatment to the treatment portion. The thermal applicator may be removably disposable in operative relationship with the pressure delivery component in a use configuration of the treatment delivery component such that the thermal applicator is disposable between the treatment portion and the pressure applicator when the treatment delivery component is disposed on the treatment portion in the use configuration. Moreover, the pressure applicator is operable to apply pressure to the thermal applicator to enhance apposition of the thermal applicator to the treatment portion.
FLEXIBLE DOUBLE-ENDED VIBRATING DEVICE
A flexible, double-ended vibrating device can include two flexible arms, each arm extending outward from an opposite side of the central portion of the device and having a same shape. At least one arm of the two arms can be configured to individually bend into a plurality of bent positions and retain a selected bent position until bent into another selected bent position. The device can further include at least one vibrating motor arranged within the central portion.
COMPRESSION DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A compression device wearable by a user can apply compression, heat and cold on a left lower limb and a right lower limb of the user. The compression device includes a left massager sleeve, a right massager sleeve, a computing device, a left air pressure hose, and a right air pressure hose. The left massager sleeve and the right massager sleeve surround and secure the left lower limb, and the right lower limb respectively. The computing device generates air pressure. The computing device includes a control panel to control the flow of the air pressure in the left massager sleeve and the right massager sleeve. The left air pressure hose is connected to the left massager sleeve to apply the air pressure to the left lower limb. The right air pressure hose is connected to the right massager sleeve to apply the air pressure to the right lower limb.
Heel protector and corresponding rehabilitation systems and methods for using the same
A device (900) includes a leg engaging section (101) and a foot engaging section (102 intersecting at a heel receiver (103). The leg engaging section and the foot engaging section defining a leg insertion aperture (104). A first compression wrap member (301) and a second compression wrap member (302) extend from the leg engaging section. An inflatable bladder (501) can be disposed along the leg engaging section between the leg insertion aperture and a compressible cushion layer (902). The inflatable bladder can be selectively inflatable through a connection tube (502) exiting the inflatable bladder at a non-orthogonal angle (504) relative to an edge (507) of the inflatable bladder. The leg engaging section can define at least one channel to permit the connection tube to exit the device.
Massage Device With Optimized Automatic Operating Mode
A massage device includes a first selection interface configured to allow a user to select an automatic or manual operating mode of the device, the automatic operating mode providing a treatment cycle for the area to be massage; a second selection interface configured to allow a user to select a parameter related to the automatic operation mode of the device and representative of a massage setting; a massage head including at least one massage element configured to come into contact with the area to be massaged; and an actuator enabling activation of said at least one massage element. The device further includes a controller configured to automatically select a first mode or a second mode of operation of the automatic operation of the device, depending on the user-selected setting, wherein the first mode and the second mode are each associated with a particular operation of the actuator.
