Responsive whole patient care compression therapy and treatment system
Apparatus and methods relate to a pneumatic compression therapy device configured to suggest content to the patient based on a determined disease state, the content pertaining to suggested changes in lifestyle based on a standard of care. In an illustrative embodiment, the suggested changes may include modifications to treatment location, treatment time, diet, eating habits, or sleeping schedule. Various examples may further sample the patient's health and automatically adjust a treatment parameter within a predetermined parameter range based on a history of measured parameters, such as limb volume, for example. In coordination with the therapeutic treatment, the therapy device may deliver suggested content to guide the patient to make more healthful lifestyle choices to reduce recovery time and improve patient health outcomes.
Fluidic methods and devices
A device for use by an individual for sexual pleasure varying in form, i.e. shape, during its use and allowing for the user to select multiple variations of form either discretely or in combination and for these dynamic variations to be controllable simultaneously and interchangeably while being transparent to the normal use of the device, including the ability to insert, withdraw, rotate, and actuate the variable features manually or remotely. According to embodiments of the invention localized and global variations of devices are implemented using fluidics and electromagnetic pumps/valves wherein a fluid is employed such that controlling the pressure of the fluid results in the movement of an element within the device or the expansion/contraction of an element within the device.
Static and dynamic compression therapy system
Compression systems and methods may include a garment configured to be donned on, for example, a head and a neck of a body. For example, the garment may include a static garment portion configurable to apply a static pressure to a portion of the head and a dynamic garment portion including one or more pressure applying regions controllable to apply pressure to the head and neck. Further, a controller may be configured to control pressure applied by the one or more pressure applying regions.
Massage device comprising a pressure element, method for the use thereof, and method for the manufacture thereof
The group of inventions relates to massage devices for personal use. The present device for massaging the genitals includes a first elongate member having a first and a second end, and a second member that is connected to the first end of the first member, wherein the first member has an arc-shaped bend and includes a first surface region that is capable of interaction with a first region of the body, and the second member includes a second surface region that is capable of interaction with a second region of the body. The first surface region is elongate with an arc-shaped bend, and is capable of translational movement along the first region of the body, the first member being capable of straightening elastically during the translational movement, thus substantially conferring the shape of the first region of the body to the first surface region.
Device for massaging and stretching certain body parts
A device comprising at least two ferrules, which may have a first ferrule (3) and a second ferrule (4), joined by elements by programmable elastic means (5) in the manner of elastic rods or straps with shape memory, wherein each ferrule (3) (4) has a housing (3.1) (4.1) for housing vibration-generating means (6) and (7) fed by means of cables (6.1) and (7.1), respectively, by a control unit which is in charge of controlling and adjusting vibration intensity, phase and speed, wherein the programmable elastic means is preferably a nickel-titanium alloy, and may be compressed air. A device is obtained that is simple to implement and apply in the treatment of arthritis and arthrosis disorders.
FACIAL MASK FOR SKIN CARE
A facial mask for skin care is provided. According to the present invention, provided is a facial mask for skin care, comprising: a mask member applied to the facial area of the human body; one or more vibrators provided in the mask member so as to transmit vibration to the skin; an actuating unit for transmitting the vibration of the vibrators toward the skin, and blocking the vibration transmitted to the mask member; and a control unit for individually controlling the plurality of vibrators.
Therapeutic seat cushion equipped for pressure monitoring and inflation system for same
A seat cushion includes a plurality of inflatable cells, a pumping mechanism, and a manifold or valve system fluidly between the pumping mechanism and the inflatable cells. The manifold or the valve system, which may include a clutch and a motor, connect the pumping mechanism with, the inflatable cells such that a plurality of zones are created. A valve assembly can include a plurality of valves and is adjustable among at least three valve configurations to vary fluid connections to the inflatable cells to produce rearwardly advancing waves. The pumping action produced by the inflation and deflation of the inflatable cells assists in pumping blood in a user's legs back toward the heart.
MULTIFUNCTION KNEE BRACE OR SLEEVE
A multifunction sleeve for a jointed limb is provided. The sleeve may include multiple sections each with one or more inflatable chambers. One or more temperature sensors, one or more range of motion sensors, one or more thermal elements are provided for application of heat or cold therapy. A control device is provided which is adapted to: receive temperature data from the temperature sensors; receive range of motion data from the range of motion sensors; receive temperature data from the thermal elements; control timing, order and duration of inflation and deflation of the inflatable chambers; and control application, timing, temperature, and duration of the heat or cold therapy. A user device may be adapted to receive, store and analyze the temperature and range of motion data received from the control device and/or the sleeve. Potential adverse events may be predicted based on the data received.
NONINVASIVE DETECTION AND/OR TREATMENT OF MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Noninvasive treatment (e.g., neuromodulation) can be achieved using vibrational energy applied via one or more wearable devices. A noninvasive treatment device includes a vibrational actuator disposed within a housing that can be secured to a user's body at or adjacent a treatment site. One or more sensors can collect physiological data before, during, or after application of vibrational energy to monitor a user's condition. Machine learning or other suitable approaches can be used to analyze sensor data to detect medical conditions and/or to effect treatment of medical conditions using devices as described herein.
