DOMESTIC CLOTHES DRYER AND METHOD FOR DRIVING SUCH DRYERS
A domestic clothes dryer includes a rotating drum that defines a drying chamber, an air inlet upstream the drum, and a lifter coupled to the drum. The lifter is in communication with the air inlet for distributing air inside the drum through a plurality of openings. The air inlet includes a shaped air plenum chamber facing a lower portion of a rear perforated wall of the drum and capable of delivering air to said lifter and/or directly to the drum through the rear perforated wall.
Dryer for Drying Dry Materials, Especially Textiles
A dryer for drying dry materials having heating and cooling chambers, wherein the two chambers are sealed gas-tight to each other and/or to the outside environment, a connecting line that fluidically connects the chambers to each other and has a closing valve, a vacuum pump that is actively connected to the cooling chamber, a heat pump that is actively connected to the two chambers, and a steam generator which feeds generated steam via a steam line into the heating chamber,
The steam mixes with moisture of the dry materials in the heating chamber and the resulting moist steam is supplied to the cooling chamber via the connecting line, wherein positive pressure is generated through evaporation and negative pressure is produced through the condensation such that a pressure difference is produced between the heating and cooling chambers, and wherein the vacuum pump pumps dry air from the cooling chamber as required.
WIRELESSLY POWERED ADDITIVE DISPENSING ASSEMBLY AND LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry or dryer appliance may include a cabinet, a drum, a transmitter power coil, and an additive dispensing assembly. The transmitter power coil may be mounted to the cabinet proximal to the door. The additive dispensing assembly may include a fluid pump, a receiver power coil, and a dispenser nozzle. The fluid pump may motivate a volume of a liquid additive therefrom for an additive mist to the drum. The receiver power coil may be in selective wireless communication with the transmitter power coil to receive an electromagnetic field therefrom. The receiver power coil may be operably coupled to the fluid pump. The dispenser nozzle may be directed toward the drum downstream from the fluid pump to guide the volume of the liquid additive into the space defined by the drum.
Sanitation device
A sanitation system includes a drum configured to be positioned within a body of an appliance. The drum includes a lifter on an interior surface. A sanitation device is selectively disposed within the drum. The sanitation device includes a housing. A heatsink is integrally formed with the housing. The heatsink and the housing form an outer structure free of apertures. A sensor assembly is disposed within the outer structure. The sensor assembly includes a humidity sensor configured to sense humidity. A light source is disposed within the outer structure.
CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a clothes care apparatus having a door support for increasing a rigidity of a door. The clothes care apparatus includes a cabinet including a clothes care compartment with an open front, and a machine compartment provided with a heat pump and a steam generator provided to heat or dehumidify air in the clothes care compartment, a door provided to open or close the opening of the cabinet, and a door support provided to reinforce a rigidity of the door, wherein the door support includes a first reinforcement provided to support the door in a longitudinal direction, and a second reinforcement connected to one side of the first reinforcement and provided such that at least a portion thereof is exposed to the outside of the door.
Multi-functional storage system for preventing water from condensing on inner side of door and method for drying inner side of door using same
A multi-functional storage system includes a storage compartment and a machine compartment provided at one side of the storage compartment. The multi-functional storage system also includes a door provided at a foreside of the storage compartment and the machine compartment. The machine compartment includes an intake port and an exhaust port communicating with outside air, and a blower unit for drawing in the outside air through the intake port and exhausting it through the exhaust port. While the door is closed and the intake port and the exhaust port are open, the blower unit is operated so as to dry an inner side of the door.
Method of controlling laundry treating apparatus
Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a laundry treating apparatus, if a user selects a uniform course, including performing a preheating operation of a heater to generate steam, performing a first cooling operation to operate a blower unit and a moving hanger after the preheating operation has been terminated, performing a steam operation to operate the blower unit and a steam unit and to circulate steam to a treating chamber after the first cooling operation has been terminated, performing a standby operation to operate the blower unit after the steam operation has been terminated, performing a second cooling operation to operate the blower unit after the standby operation has been terminated, and performing a drying operation to operate the blower unit and a heat pump unit and to provide heat to the treating chamber to dry the treating chamber after the second cooling operation has been terminated.
Clothes care apparatus
A clothes care apparatus includes a body including a clothes care compartment and a machine room arranged under the clothes care compartment, a steam generation device configured to generate steam, a steam injector including a steam injection port configured to receive the steam from the steam generation device and inject the steam into an inside of the clothes care compartment, and a condensed water outlet configured to discharge condensed water from the steam into the inside of the clothes care compartment, and a drain hole provided in the clothes care compartment below the condensed water outlet to connect the clothes care compartment to the machine room so as to allow the condensed water discharged from the condensed water outlet to flow into the machine room.
CLOTHES CARE DEVICE AND CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS
A clothes care device is provided. The clothes care device includes a collection box, a suction pipe, a washing cover, and a spray nozzle disposed inside the suction pipe and provided in such a way that an end of the spray nozzle faces a washing port, and the washing cover mounted to the washing port and provided to be pressed against clothes. By operating a washing water supply in a state in which the washing cover is pressed against the clothes by an operation of a suction device, the spray nozzle sprays washing water and the suction device suctions and collects the washing water.
