The heating device includes a plurality of compressors, and controls a number of compressors to be operated and an RPM of the operated compressors, according to a cycle status of the dryer, the washing machine, and the refresher.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a dryer including a first cabinet, and a drum rotatably mounted in the first cabinet; a refresher including a second cabinet disposed on one side of the first cabinet and having an inner space for receiving laundry; a first supply air duct for supplying air into the drum; a second supply air duct for supplying air into the inner space of the second cabinet; and a heating device for heating air flowing into the first supply air duct and the second supply air duct, and disposed in the first cabinet and disposed under the drum, thereby supplying hot air to the dryer and the refresher by using a single heating device.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus includes a dryer including a first cabinet and a first drum rotatably mounted in the first cabinet; a washing machine including a second cabinet vertically disposed with respect to the first cabinet, a tub disposed in the second cabinet, and a second drum rotatably mounted in the tub; a refresher including a third cabinet disposed on one side of the first cabinet and the second cabinet, and having an inner space for receiving laundry; a heating device disposed above the first drum and the second drum, and heating air supplied into the inner space of the refresher; and a supply air duct connecting the heating device and an upper portion of the refresher, thereby supplying hot air to the upper portion of the refresher.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE AND METHOD
A laundry treating appliance and method of initiating a sanitization cycle in a laundry treating appliance includes sensing at least one of a presence of an article within a sanitizing compartment, an identification of the article within the sanitizing compartment, or a chemical property within the sanitizing compartment, and determining, in a controller, a need for initiating a sanitization cycle.
Clothes care apparatus and control method thereof
A clothes care apparatus includes a chamber, an upper fan provided above the chamber and configured to move air to a lower side of the chamber, and a lower fan provided under the chamber and configured to move air to an upper side of the chamber. A first motor is configured to rotate the lower fan and a steam generating device is configured to generate steam by heating water. A controller is configured to control on-off states of the steam generating device and the first motor, configured to turn on the steam generating device in a first period for supplying the generated steam to the chamber, and configured to turn on the first motor in a second period for allowing the steam to be dispersed by air moving to the chamber.
Appliance monitoring sensors
Sensor units that includes a power source, a communication interface, and a sensor coupled to the power source and the communication interface. The sensor is calibrated to connect the power source to the communication interface upon an occurrence of a condition in an appliance. The sensor, thereby, permits the communication interface to transmit data indicating the condition to a computing device. Methods, systems, and apparatus, for monitoring such sensor units.
REMOVABLE SCALE COLLECTOR AND INHIBITOR FILTER
The invention provides a device with a steam function, wherein the device includes a water supply opening, a scale inhibitor dosing element, a flow control device, a heating unit, a scale collector element, and a water processing unit. Further, the flow control device provides a fluid including water to flow from the water supply opening via the heating unit to the water processing unit; the scale inhibitor dosing element provides a scale inhibitor to the water at a location in the heating unit and/or upstream of the heating unit; the heating unit includes heating the water in a heating mode and for converting the water into steam in a steam formation mode; and the scale collector element is arranged downstream of the heating unit and upstream of a flow restriction, wherein the scale collector element includes collecting scale particles from the fluid flowing through the scale collector element.
LAUNDRY FIXTURE HAVING AN ALUMINUM OUTER COVERING FOR REDUCING STATIC ELECTRICITY WITHIN A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry fixture for reducing static electricity includes a substrate. An outer covering includes a woven aluminum fabric that is disposed on the substrate to form a three-dimensional shape. The woven aluminum fabric defining a static-reducing portion. A retaining portion is interspersed within the outer covering to form a particulate-capturing portion. The static-reducing portion and the particulate-capturing portion cooperate to define an entire outer surface of the three-dimensional shape. The three-dimensional shape is configured to be placed within a processing space for a laundry appliance to separate particulate material from articles being processed and retain the particulate material during a laundry cycle.
FOREIGN PARTICULATE REMOVAL ASSEMBLY OF A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet, a drum, a housing, a foreign particulate removal assembly, and a blower. The foreign particulate removal assembly includes a first lint filter that defines a plurality of first lint filter openings, a second lint filter that defines a plurality of second lint filter openings that are smaller than the plurality of first lint filter openings, such that the second lint filter is configured to collect foreign particulates that pass through at least one of the plurality of first lint filter openings, and a binding member that couples the first lint filter to the second lint filter. The foreign particulate removal assembly is operable between a collection position and a maintenance position. In the collection position, at least the second lint filter is positioned within the housing. In the maintenance position, the second lint filter is positioned outside of the housing.
FLUID EMITTING FEATURE FOR A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet that defines an opening. A rotating drum is accessible via the opening and operably coupled to the cabinet. A fluid emitting feature is proximate the rotating drum. The fluid emitting feature is configured to dispense a fluid into the rotating drum. The fluid is configured to contact foreign particulates in the rotating drum. A housing is proximate the rotating drum and includes a foreign particulate filter configured to collect the foreign particulates. The fluid and rotation of the rotating drum direct the foreign particulates toward the foreign particulate filter.
