Multifunctional storage system including heat pump unit having moisture supply unit and method of preheating using the same
Disclosed is a multifunctional storage system including a machine chamber and a compartment, in which clothes are received, the multifunctional storage system including: a heat pump unit located in the machine chamber and including an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor, and a pressure controller; a moisture supply unit coupled to the heat pump unit and including a humidification filter; and a fan unit configured to circulate air in the machine chamber from the evaporator toward the condenser, wherein the moisture supply unit is coupled to a front end of the evaporator with reference to a circulation direction of the air, and wherein moisture is supplied to the humidification filter according to a preset condition, and loads of the evaporator and the condenser are increased as the moisture is supplied to the air when the air passes through the humidification filter.
Dryer for Drying Dry Materials, Especially Textiles
A dryer for drying dry materials having heating and cooling chambers, wherein the two chambers are sealed gas-tight to each other and/or to the outside environment, a connecting line that fluidically connects the chambers to each other and has a closing valve, a vacuum pump that is actively connected to the cooling chamber, a heat pump that is actively connected to the two chambers, and a steam generator which feeds generated steam via a steam line into the heating chamber,
The steam mixes with moisture of the dry materials in the heating chamber and the resulting moist steam is supplied to the cooling chamber via the connecting line, wherein positive pressure is generated through evaporation and negative pressure is produced through the condensation such that a pressure difference is produced between the heating and cooling chambers, and wherein the vacuum pump pumps dry air from the cooling chamber as required.
MOTOR ASSEMBLY FOR A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
A motor assembly for a laundry treating appliance, the motor assembly including an impeller housing, a compressor housing disposed within the impeller housing, a compressor motor disposed within the compressor housing, an impeller mechanically coupled to the compressor motor and disposed within the impeller housing, and a cover for the impeller housing.
Clothes treating apparatus having drying function
A clothes treating apparatus having a drying function includes: a cabinet; a drum provided within the cabinet; a heat-exchanger heat-exchanged with air exhausted from the drum; a lint filter disposed on an upstream side of the heat-exchanger with respect to flow of air exhausted from the drum to collect lint in the air; a spray tube spraying water to the lint filter to separate lint collected in the lint filter from the lint filter; and a lint collecting part at least partially provided below the lint filter or below the heat-exchanger to collect falling lint. Lint in condensate water may be collected, and thus, generation of a bad influence when condensate water is re-used may be suppressed. Also, contact between lint in drying air and the heat-exchanger may be restrained.
CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a clothes care apparatus having a door support for increasing a rigidity of a door. The clothes care apparatus includes a cabinet including a clothes care compartment with an open front, and a machine compartment provided with a heat pump and a steam generator provided to heat or dehumidify air in the clothes care compartment, a door provided to open or close the opening of the cabinet, and a door support provided to reinforce a rigidity of the door, wherein the door support includes a first reinforcement provided to support the door in a longitudinal direction, and a second reinforcement connected to one side of the first reinforcement and provided such that at least a portion thereof is exposed to the outside of the door.
Method of controlling laundry treating apparatus
Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a laundry treating apparatus, if a user selects a uniform course, including performing a preheating operation of a heater to generate steam, performing a first cooling operation to operate a blower unit and a moving hanger after the preheating operation has been terminated, performing a steam operation to operate the blower unit and a steam unit and to circulate steam to a treating chamber after the first cooling operation has been terminated, performing a standby operation to operate the blower unit after the steam operation has been terminated, performing a second cooling operation to operate the blower unit after the standby operation has been terminated, and performing a drying operation to operate the blower unit and a heat pump unit and to provide heat to the treating chamber to dry the treating chamber after the second cooling operation has been terminated.
Ventilation solution for closed-loop dryer systems
A drying appliance includes a cabinet. A drum processes articles of laundry. The drum is positioned for rotational operation within the cabinet. A blower directs process air through a recirculating airflow path that includes the drum. The drum and the blower are activated in an operating state and deactivated in an idle state. A first operable vent is positioned proximate a front of the cabinet. A second operable vent is positioned proximate a rear of the cabinet. The first and second operable vents define an open position after the drum and the blower define the idle state. The first and second operable vents define a closed position after the drum and the blower define the operating state.
Dryer and method for controlling the same
A dryer according to the disclosure may detect current flowing through a motor for rotating a drum, detect humidity of a drying material accommodated in the drum, compare the detected humidity to a plurality of pieces of reference humidity and compare the detected current to a plurality of pieces of reference current to obtain a drying load, control a revolutions per minute (rpm) of the motor, a frequency of a compressor provided in a heat pump, and a degree of superheat of an evaporator provided in the heat pump based on the drying load, perform a drying process, detect humidity of the drying material while the drying process is performed, and finish the drying process in response to the detected humidity determined to be target humidity.
