Drying Machine With A Sieve In The Drying Circuit
A dryer or combination washer/dryer machine has a drum (12) and a clothes drying circuit (16) recirculates a drying airflow. An inlet (20, 104) and outlet (22, 106) are connected by a conduit (24). A water vapor path (18) includes a sieve (30) and a compressor (32). The sieve (30) is positioned in the conduit (24). The sieve (30) removes water molecules from the drying airflow to reduce relative humidity in the drying airflow. The compressor (32) is coupled with the sieve to draw the water molecules through the sieve into the compressor (32). The compressor (32) heats the water in the water vapor path (18) and passes it to the drum (12). The water condenses in the drum (12) to heat the drum (12) and air within the drum (12) to dry clothes in the drum (12).
INTEGRATED WASHING-DRYING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to an integrated washing-drying machine and a method of controlling the same, the integrated washing-drying machine including a housing, a drying drum disposed at an upper side in the housing and configured to accommodate and dry laundry, a washing drum disposed at a lower side in the housing and configured to accommodate and wash laundry, a heat pump having an evaporator, a compressor, and a condenser and produce hot air for drying laundry and supply the hot air to the drying drum, and a cleaning means configured to clean the condenser by spraying cleaning water to the condenser. In this case, the cleaning means uses, as the cleaning water, at least any one of condensate water produced in the evaporator and washing water to be supplied to the washing drum. With this configuration, when the amount of condensate water is insufficient, the washing water is additionally supplied to clean the condenser cleanly.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet with an insertion opening defined in a front face, a laundry receiving space in the cabinet, a support assembly in the laundry receiving space for supporting laundry, and a first chamber including an air supply part for supplying dehumidified and heated air into the laundry receiving space. A communication opening in the front face of the cabinet opens to the first chamber. A chamber door is configured to open and close the communication opening. A water discharge tank is detachably connected to the chamber door and stores condensate water discharged from the air supply part. A chamber door conveying part reciprocates the chamber door, and moves the support assembly toward the insertion opening when the door opens the insertion opening.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a laundry treating apparatus including: a cabinet having a laundry inlet and a filter insertion hole defined in a front face thereof; a drum rotatably disposed inside the cabinet and having a laundry storage space defined therein communicating with the laundry inlet; a duct disposed inside the cabinet, wherein the duct defines a channel for supplying air discharged from the drum back to the drum; a fan to move air along the duct; a heat exchanger including a heat-absorber to remove moisture from air introduced into the duct and a heat-emitter disposed inside the duct to heat air passing through the heat-absorber; a water collector constructed to communicate with the duct and to store therein water discharged from the water passing through the heat-absorber; a filter assembly including: a filter assembly body attachable to or detachable from the duct and constructed to be extended from or retractable into the cabinet through the filter insertion hole; a first filter disposed in the filter assembly body to filter fluid moving to the heat-absorber; and a second filter disposed in the filter assembly body to filter fluid moving to the water collector, wherein the second filter is positioned below the first filter; a water discharger detachably disposed in the cabinet and having a water storage space defined therein; a water discharger supply pipe for supplying water stored in the water collector to the water discharger; a water ejector configured to eject water into the first filter; and a water ejector supply pipe for supplying water stored in the water collector to the water ejector. Further, a method for controlling the apparatus is disclosed.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a laundry treating apparatus including: a water discharger supply pipe for supplying water stored in a water collector to a water discharger; a water supply pipe constructed to connect the water discharger and the water collector to each other; and a water collector water-level sensor for measuring a water-level inside the water collector, and a controller configured to control the laundry treating apparatus comprising: a water-level sensing operation in which the water collector water-level sensor measures the water-level of the water collector during a drying operation; and a cleaning water supply operation in which when the water-level of the water collector is lower than a predefined cleaning-related reference water-level, a water supply valve is controlled to supply water stored in the water discharger to the water collector.
