The clothing treatment apparatus according to an embodiment includes a body including a storage chamber that stores clothing, a spray member configured to spray steam toward the clothing, a steam generator configured to supply steam to the spray member, a cabinet provided under the storage chamber, and a water supply container configured to store water inside, the water supply container being detachably combined with the cabinet, wherein the cabinet includes a cabinet plate formed with a supply hole that connects the water supply container to the steam generator and a discharge hole that drains residual water discharged when the water supply container is detached.

In a laundry treating apparatus including an induction heater, the present invention includes a first step of setting a normal dry mode and an abnormal dry mode for controlling the induction heater with a output relatively lower than that of the normal dry mode, a second step of operating the induction heater in the normal dry mode, a third step of determining whether a dry load is a normal load or an abnormal load using at least one of a temperature of a drum and a current of a motor, and a fourth step of if the dry load is determined as the abnormal load, controlling the induction heater in the abnormal dry mode.

TRAVEL CYCLE FOR A CONDENSER OR HEAT PUMP DRYER APPLIANCE
A dryer appliance and a method of operating the same are provided. In one aspect, the dryer appliance includes a drum rotatably mounted within a cabinet. The drum defines a chamber that is in fluid communication with a conditioning system of the dryer appliance that circulates heated air through the chamber. A controller is configured to receive a command to initiate an appliance travel cycle and implement a responsive action to prepare the dryer appliance for travel. The responsive action may be the automated adjustment of one or more operating parameters of the dryer appliance, such as performing a load sensing procedure, drying the chamber, closing the water supply valves, etc. In addition, the responsive action may include providing a user instruction to prepare the dryer appliance, e.g., by cleaning the lint filter, emptying the condensate collection tank, removing hoses and cables, addressing any error codes, etc.
