Garment steamer
The present disclosure provides a garment steamer which includes a water tank configured to store water, an evaporator assembly communicated with the water tank and configured to generate steam, and a switching member. The evaporator assembly includes a first heating member and a second heating member, a resistance of the first heating member meets 110V power supply, a resistance of the second heating member meets 220V power supply. The switching member is configured to connect 110V power supply to the first heating member or connect 220V power supply to the second heating member automatically.

An electrical household appliance includes a base for producing steam having a steam generator including a boiling chamber and a liquid reservoir supplying the boiling chamber by gravity, the liquid flowing by gravity from the reservoir toward the boiling chamber until the liquid level in the boiling chamber reaches an equilibrium level, called the reference level, at which the liquid level prevents air from entering the reservoir, the boiling chamber including a steam outlet through which steam can escape toward a work tool, such as a smoothing brush, and a communication opening connected to a pipe having an evacuation opening closed with a removable stopper, wherein the pipe includes a scale-collecting container that is removable through the evacuation opening.
Steam iron with pressurized water reservoir
The present application relates to a steam iron (1) for treating garments, comprising a heel (2) to rest the steam iron (1) on a supporting surface (S) when the steam iron (1) is not treating garments, a pressurization unit (3) having a chamber (4) comprising a water inlet (5) for receiving water and a water outlet (6). The pressurization unit (3) is adapted so that, in a rest position (PI) where the heel (2) is placed on the supporting surface (S), it generates an air vacuum in the chamber (4) to draw water into the chamber (4) via the water inlet (5) and, in a lifted position (P2) where the heel (2) is not placed on the supporting surface (S), pressurizes the water drawn in the chamber (4). The steam iron also comprises a steam engine (7) for generating steam from water towards the garments and a water output channel (8) for carrying water under pressure from the water outlet (6) to the steam engine (7). This invention allows easily pressurizing the water in the chamber for in turn increasing the steam generation.
Apparatus for generating steam
Apparatus for generating steam is disclosed. It comprises a water inlet (19), an evaporation surface (24), and a heater (26) disposed adjacent to the evaporation surface to heat the evaporation surface. The water inlet (19) is positioned relative to the evaporation surface (24) so that water is fed onto the evaporation surface from the inlet (19) and forms a film on the evaporation surface such that said film is evaporated from the evaporation surface (24). The apparatus also has a scale collection region (23). The evaporation surface (24) and the scale collection region (23) are configured such that the scale collection region (23) is positioned below the evaporation surface (24) during use of the apparatus so that scale dislodged from the evaporation surface (24) and which falls away from the evaporation surface (24), drops into the scale collection region (23).
Device and method for generating steam
The invention relates to a device for generating steam. The device comprises a water outlet arrangement having an open end to spray water onto a water receiving arrangement. The water receiving arrangement comprises an interior surface defining a chamber in which the open end is arranged so that water sprayed from the open end is sprayed onto the interior surface. The device further comprises a heating element for heating the interior surface up to a temperature for generating steam from water sprayed on the interior surface. The interior surface is formed by two separate cavities, the open end comprising a spray nozzle received within each cavity so that each spray nozzle sprays water onto a region of the interior surface, each region being defined by the cavity in which a respective spray nozzle is received. This allows the water sprayed by the water outlet arrangement be more uniformly spread on the interior surface, leading to more effective heating and more steam may be generated per unit time.
SYSTEM TO PRESSURIZE WATERIN A GARMENT CARE DEVICE
The invention relates to a system (1) for a garment care device (20, 25) comprising a steam generator (7). The system (1) comprises a pressurization unit (2). The pressurization unit (2) comprises a chamber (3) for receiving water from a water supply system (5) and for delivering the received water towards the steam generator (7), and an actuator (8) cooperating with a retention member (9). The actuator (8) is adapted to displace and load the retention member (9) when water is received in the chamber (3). The retention member (9) is adapted to unload and apply a force to the actuator (8) after water has been received in the chamber (3) to pressurise water received in the chamber (3). The retention member (9) has a stiffness coefficient that varies as a function of displacement of the actuator (8). This invention allows that the flow of pressurized water from the chamber to the steam generator is more purposively controlled so that a given desired steam profile can be generated.
A STEAM IRON WITH PRESSURIZED WATER RESERVOIR
The present application relates to a steam iron (1) for treating garments, comprising a heel (2) to rest the steam iron (1) on a supporting surface (S) when the steam iron (1) is not treating garments, a pressurisation unit (3) having a chamber (4) comprising a water inlet (5) for receiving water and a water outlet (6). The pressurisation unit (3) is adapted so that, in a rest position (P1) where the heel (2) is placed on the supporting surface (S), it generates an air vacuum in the chamber (4) to draw water into the chamber (4) via the water inlet (5) and, in a lifted position (P2) where the heel (2) is not placed on the supporting surface (S), pressurises the water drawn in the chamber (4). The steam iron also comprises a steam engine (7) for generating steam from water towards the garments and a water output channel (8) for carrying water under pressure from the water outlet (6) to the steam engine (7). A HAND-HELD GARMENT STEAMER WITH SCALE COLLECTION CHAMBER
The present application relates to a hand-held garment steamer (1) comprising a steam generating chamber (5) having a surface (9) and a heater (10) to heat the surface (9) such that water fed onto the surface (9) is converted into steam. The hand-held garment steamer (1) further comprises a scale collection chamber (14) having an opening (25). The surface (9) and opening (25) are positioned relative to each other and configured so that when the garment steamer (1) is in a first orientation (A) in which the surface (9) extends downwardly away from the opening (25), water fed onto the surface (9) flows away from the opening (25) to be evaporated from the surface (9). When the garment steamer (1) is in a second orientation (B) in which the surface (9) extends downwardly towards the opening (25), scale dislodged from the surface (9) falls into the scale collection chamber (14) through the opening (25). The scale collection chamber (14) is located below the steam generating chamber (5) in both the first orientation (A) and the second orientation (B). The present application also relates to a garment steaming system (40) comprising the hand-held garment steamer (1).
WATER TUBE AND A STEAMER HAVING THE SAME
A water tube is adapted for use in a steamer. The steamer has a steam chamber and a heating plate that is disposed under the steam chamber. The water tube includes a tubular main body, a dividing body, and a plurality of ribs. The main body defines a channel extending in a flowing direction. The channel has an inlet portion, and an outlet portion that is opposite to and disposed downstream of the inlet portion, and that is adapted to extend into the steam chamber. The dividing body is inserted into the outlet portion of the channel. The ribs extend from the dividing body to the main body, and cooperate with the dividing body to divide the outlet portion of the channel into a plurality of outlet holes.
Steamer with filter unit, filter cartridge and method of conveying steam
The present application relates to a steamer which has a steam generator (11) with a steam outlet (33). A steam path extends from the steam outlet to convey steam, and a filter unit (7) is positioned in the steam path. The filter unit has a filter cartridge (24) removably mounted along the steam path having a cartridge housing, a filter medium received in the cartridge housing. The filter unit also has a cartridge inlet and a cartridge outlet which are at or towards a first end (32) of the cartridge housing (34), and a barrier (20) configured to guide the steam to flow in the cartridge housing to a second end (17). The filter unit is spaced from the steam outlet (33), to filter impurities from steam passing along the steam path. The present application also relates to a filter cartridge for a steamer.
