A hamper has a fabric bag, and a supporting frame assembly that has a foldable wall assembly, a base and a top frame. The foldable wall assembly has a rear frame, a left frame a right frame. The base has a rear side that is pivotally connected with the bottom side of the rear frame, with the left and right sides of the base removably coupled to the bottom sides of the left frame and the right frame, respectively. A linen hamper made of a light weight tubular frame for releasably securing a hamper bag includes an open top which can be closed by a pivotally mounted lid. The lid is connected to a foot pedal pivotally mounted on the frame, by an adjustable control rod pivotally connected to each. A closing cylinder is biased to close the lid when pressure is removed from the foot pedal. However, the control rod is adjustable to a second state in which the pivot point of its connection to the lid is aligned or is over center relative to the pivot point of the lid, and with respect to the closing force exerted by the control rod on the lid, such that the closing cylinder cannot close the lid until the lid is tapped forwardly slightly.

A removable hanging laundry storage container such as a bag or hamper including a pair of substantially C-shaped handles extending upwards from opposites sides of the top of the hamper or bag. The C-shaped handles define interior regions for receiving a horizontal support to hang the hamper or bag thereon. The system may receive laundry service orders from customer, schedule couriers or delivery services for the transportation of bags of laundry from the customer to a washer located at a laundry facility. The washer may be located at a residential laundry facility or a commercial laundry facility. The system may provide the washer with instruction for performing the laundering tasks and track the progress of each load of laundry through the process by having the washer scan unique identifiers attached to the laundry bags, washing machines and dryers.

A laundry sorting and processing system that keeps a laundry bag open in a furniture drawer as a portion of the bag is stretched around flanges that are in recesses of sidewalls of the drawer. Each flange has a central segment and two end segments that extend outward from the central segment. The central segment includes at least two parallel surfaces and two curved arc portions between the two parallel surfaces that form two bends, A middle parallel surface may be contiguous with each of the two curved arc portions, which separate the middle parallel surface from the two parallel surfaces. One of the end segments extends from one the parallel surfaces outward at a straight angle. Another of the end segments extends outward from the other parallel surface at an acute angle. The two end segments have a formation that facilitates securement of the flange in the recesses.

An apparatus for supporting a laundry hamper is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a supporting rod having one or more sides arranged to form a closed frame, one or more mounting brackets, and means for securing the one or more mounting brackets to a door of a cabinet, such as a tilt-out cabinet. Aspects of the invention relate to a laundry hamper assembly comprising the apparatus and at least one laundry hamper being supported thereon.

A segmented hamper with motion activated lids is a plurality of laundry hampers having a plurality of motion sensor which lift an individual hamper lid when activated. The plurality of hampers is disposed upon a base having four caster wheels. The hamper is provided with a control panel and battery operated power source.

A laundry bag formed of a flexible material has an opening defined by a rim, and a plurality of magnets are held in spaced relationship around a portion of the rim to enable the laundry bag to be adhered to the side of a washing machine while enabling a user to grasp a portion of the rim remote to hold the bag open with one hand while the laundry bag is held to the side of the washing machine.
