Washing machine appliance and nozzle assembly
A washing machine appliance and nozzle assembly is provided herein. The washing machine appliance may include a cabinet, a tub positioned within the cabinet, a wash basket, and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly may be mounted within the cabinet and configured to provide wash fluid to the tub. The nozzle assembly may include an extendable nozzle, a supply line, and a nozzle valve. The extendable nozzle may be movable between retracted and extended positions. The extendable nozzle may define a fluid path extending in fluid communication between a nozzle inlet and a nozzle outlet. The supply line may extend to the extendable nozzle in fluid communication therewith to provide a flow of wash fluid to the extendable nozzle. The nozzle valve may be positioned within the extendable nozzle in fluid communication with the supply line upstream from the nozzle outlet.
WASHING MACHINE WITH SELF-SELECTING WASHING CYCLE USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
A washing machine including a rotatable cylinder comprising a washing chamber to hold washables, one or more sensors, and a processing device, communicatively connected to the one or more sensors to control an operation of the washing machine, to receive sensor data captured by the one or more sensors, determine, using a machine learning model based on the sensor data, a plurality of properties associated with the washables, determine a setting for the washing machine based on the plurality of properties, and cause the washing machine to operate according to the setting.
DRYING APPLIANCE HAVING AN ACCESSORY PORT FOR PROVIDING EXTERNAL AIRFLOW FOR POWERED ACCESSORIES
A laundry appliance includes a processing chamber positioned within a cabinet. A blower delivers process air through an airflow path and through the processing chamber. An accessory port is positioned on an exterior surface of the cabinet and coupled with the airflow path. The accessory port selectively redirects the process air through an accessory airflow path to define accessory process air. An accessory tool that selectively engages the accessory port to define the accessory airflow path.
Appliance monitoring sensors
Sensor units that includes a power source, a communication interface, and a sensor coupled to the power source and the communication interface. The sensor is calibrated to connect the power source to the communication interface upon an occurrence of a condition in an appliance. The sensor, thereby, permits the communication interface to transmit data indicating the condition to a computing device. Methods, systems, and apparatus, for monitoring such sensor units.
Dual type drying machine
A dual type drying machine includes a main drying unit, a main unit door configured to open and close a front side of the main drying unit, an auxiliary drying unit positioned vertically above the main drying unit and defining a laundry accommodation space, an auxiliary unit door configured to open and close a top surface of the laundry accommodation space, a cabinet that accommodates the main drying unit and the auxiliary drying unit, the cabinet defining an exterior of the drying machine, and an operation panel disposed at a front side of the auxiliary drying unit. When the auxiliary unit door is closed, top surfaces of the cabinet and the auxiliary unit door define a top exterior surface of the drying machine.
Clothes dryer and method for performing sterilization course thereof
A clothes dryer includes a drum configured to accommodate an object to be dried; a first sensor configured to sense a dry state of the object to be dried accommodated in the drum; a heating unit configured to heat air supplied into the drum; a blower including a fan configured to generate a flow of the air passing through the inside of the drum; a second sensor configured to sense a temperature of the air discharged from the drum; and a processor configured to control a rotation speed of the drum, a temperature of the air discharged from the drum, and a rotation speed of the fan.
System and method for detecting moisture content in a dryer appliance
A dryer appliance and a method of detecting a moisture content of clothes in the dryer appliance are provided. The dryer appliance includes a top bearing positioned proximate a front of a rotating drum and temperature and humidity sensors positioned behind the top bearing for measuring a chamber temperature and humidity as well as a temperature sensor for measuring the exhaust temperature. A controller implements a method of detecting the moisture content of clothes within the drum by obtaining the chamber and exhaust temperatures and the chamber humidity, estimating the moisture content using these values, and adjusting at least one operating parameter of the dryer appliance in response to the estimated moisture content of the clothes.
Modular air drier
With respect to an especially efficient use of energy required for drying, a drier for drying items to be dried, comprising a receptacle for the items to be dried, an air guide for guiding air to the receptacle and a heating device for heating the air is designed and further developed in such a way that the receptacle comprises a plurality of modules (1, 2, 3, 4), arranged one behind the other, for heating, drying or cooling the items to be dried, and that at least one module (1, 2, 3, 4) is associated with a conveying device (5) for conveying the items to be dried from this module (1, 2, 3) or any module (1, 2, 3) to the next module (2, 3, 4).
DRYER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A dryer includes a main body, a drying chamber provided inside the main body and configured to accommodate objects to be dried, a conveying unit configured to convey the objects to be dried, a sensor unit configured to sense information on states of the objects to be dried, and a control unit configured to control the conveying unit to move the objects to be dried based on the information sensed by the sensor unit.
Door for improved air flow in a dryer appliance
A door of a dryer appliance includes a frame defining a distribution plenum surrounding a transparent window. The frame defines a plurality of inlets on an inner surface and being spaced circumferentially around the frame to provide fluid communication between a drying chamber and the distribution plenum. A plenum outlet provides fluid communication between the distribution plenum and a trap duct for permitting the discharge of heated air from the drying chamber.
