Method for operating a clothes dryer using load temperature determined by an infrared sensor
A method for controlling a clothes dryer based on a characteristic of the load determined by temperatures provided by an infrared sensor.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING GUIDING INFORMATION AFTER WASHING HAS BEEN FINISHED
The present invention relates to a technique pertaining to a method and device for providing guiding information after washing is finished, and the method for providing guiding information after washing is finished, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a step in which a server communication unit of a management server receives, from a washer, a first message notifying that washing is finished; a step in which the server communication unit receives, from a dryer for drying the laundry from the washer, a second message notifying the start of drying; a step in which a server control unit of the management server calculates, using the first message and the second message, the time during which the laundry was left in the washer; and a step in which the server control unit controls a notification process of the washer or of the dryer by comparing the time during which the laundry was left inside with a reference time.
CLOTHES TREATING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed is a clothes treating apparatus comprising: a drying device including a heat exchanger, a compressor and a fan and having a drain hole formed to drain condensate water produced by the heat exchanger; a tub arranged underneath the drying device and storing the condensate water drained through the drain hole; a water level sensor configured to detect a water level in the tub; and a controller configured to start a drying process, operate the drying device based on the start of the drying process, and determine a load for drying to be one of no-load and a small load based on the water level in the tub failing to reach a preset water level while a preset time elapses after the start of the drying process.
Dryer and method of controlling the same
Provided is a dryer and a method of controlling the same that may determine whether drying is complete based on a temperature difference between a temperature of air discharged to a drum and a temperature of air flowing in from the drum. According to various embodiments, the dryer includes a drum; a heat pump; a duct configured to accommodate an evaporator and a condenser of the heat pump, heat air flowing in from the drum and discharge the air to the drum; a first temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the air discharged to the drum; a second temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the air flowing in from the drum; and a controller configured to determine that drying is complete, based on maintaining a difference value between the temperature of the air discharged and the temperature of the air flowing in below a preset value.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL STEAM GENERATING SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING A STEAM CYCLE WITHIN A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a blower that delivers process air through an airflow path. A rotating drum defines a processing chamber. The processing chamber is part of the airflow path. A steam generating system disposes steam into the processing chamber. A plurality of fluid nozzles direct the steam into the processing chamber according to an operating pattern. The plurality of fluid nozzles include a first nozzle that is positioned within an upper portion of the processing chamber and a second nozzle that is positioned in a lower portion of the processing chamber.
A WASHING MACHINE CONTROL METHOD WHEREIN THE DETERGENT DISSOLUTION AMOUNT IS INCREASED
Embodiments provide a control method suitable for a washing machine having a drum and a motor which moves the drum. The control method includes the detergent dissolution step having the steps of taking detergent and water, then detecting the load amount, determining the unbalanced load amount predetermined for the load amount, determining the water level in the washing machine, and rotating the motor at least twice consecutively at low and high speeds if the unbalanced load amount and the water level are below the predetermined value.
Drying device and method for controlling same
The present disclosure provides a drying device and a method for controlling same. The drying device of the present disclosure may comprise: a drum; a driving unit; a heater to heat air supplied to the interior of the drum; a communication interface; and a processor that: when a user command for a drying cycle is received, controls the driving unit so as to rotate the drum in a preset pattern; when data generated on a basis of motion of a sensing device is received through the communication interface from at least one sensing device, identifies a sensing device that has a motion corresponding to the preset pattern among the at least one sensing device; and controls the driving unit and the heater so as to perform a drying cycle on the basis of humidity data received through the communication interface from the identified sensing device.
Appliance monitoring sensors
Sensor units that includes a power source, a communication interface, and a sensor coupled to the power source and the communication interface. The sensor is calibrated to connect the power source to the communication interface upon an occurrence of a condition in an appliance. The sensor, thereby, permits the communication interface to transmit data indicating the condition to a computing device. Methods, systems, and apparatus, for monitoring such sensor units.
