Method and apparatus for determining drying of clothes
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for determining drying of clothes. The method for determining drying of clothes includes: acquiring an intake air temperature at an air inlet of a drum; calculating a change rate of the intake air temperature at the air inlet of the drum; determining that drying of the clothes is completed when a relationship between the change rate of the intake air temperature and a preset temperature change rate k.sub.s satisfies a determination condition. According to the clothes drying determination method of the present disclosure, the determination factors affecting the drying of clothes are reduced, and the accuracy of determination of drying of clothes is improved and the cost of drying clothes is reduced.
Heater assembly for an appliance having one or more thermostats
A heater assembly or dryer appliance, as provided herein, may include a housing, a heating element, and a thermostat. The housing may have an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface may define a chamber, an inlet, and an outlet. The housing may further include an embossing mount extending radially outward along the outer surface. The heating element may be disposed within the chamber to selectively heat air in a flow of heated air from the inlet to the outlet. The thermostat may be mounted on the outer surface of the housing. The thermostat may include a probe, a first mounting tab, and a second mounting tab. The probe may be positioned in thermal communication with the chamber. The first mounting tab may be secured to the embossing mount. The second mounting tab may be held against the outer surface.
Steam compression dryer
A dryer apparatus is disclosed comprising a container having a container inlet and outlet, a pump that is configured to motivate a first air-vapor mixture flow via the container inlet and via the container outlet, a heating device configured to heat the first air-vapor mixture, a selector with at least two states, a compressor that is configured to compress and motivate a part of the first air-vapor mixture flow as a second air-vapor mixture flow, to flow through a first heat exchanger and to flow through a second heat exchanger and a pressure reducing device that is configured to reduce the pressure of said second air-vapor mixture downstream said first heat exchanger. The selector is configured to direct most of the first air-vapor mixture to flow in a closed cycle through the container, or configured to exchange most of the first air-vapor mixture with air located outside the apparatus.
HYDRONIC DRYING MACHINE
The present disclosure provides system and method for drying various materials using an air-to-air heat exchanger in sequence with a liquid-to-air heat exchanger to provide heat to a chamber to remove moisture from materials contained within the chamber in an energy efficient manner.
A GARMENT CARE DEVICE FOR DRYING AND SANITIZING GARMENTS
The present application relates to a garment care device (1) comprising a housing (2) and a chamber (5) within the housing (2) to receive at least one garment. The chamber (5) comprises an air inlet (17) and an air outlet (18). An air channel (15) links the air inlet (17) and the air outlet (18). The garment care device (1) further comprises a fan (19) for circulating an air flow between the chamber (5), the air outlet (18), the air channel (15) and the air inlet (17), and a heater (14) for heating the air flow. The air inlet (17) is configured such that air entering the chamber (5) flows along a first direction (A1, A2). The air outlet (18) is configured to draw the air in the chamber (5) along a second direction (B) transverse to the first direction (A1, A2).The garment care device further comprises a second fan (32) and an extraction channel (31) linking the chamber (5) with the second fan (32). The second fan (32) is configured to selectively draw an air flow out of the chamber (5) and into the extraction channel (31). The garment care device (1) allows improving the drying and sanitizing of garments.
LINT FILTER CLOGGING DETECTION IN A DRYER APPLIANCE USING COMPRESSOR TEMPERATURE AND REFERIGERANT MASS FLOW
A laundry appliance uses a determination of a frequency of compressor temperature response, refrigerant mass flow rate, or both to determine accumulation of lint in a filter. Based on the determination, various corrective actions can be taken including notifying the user, shutting off the appliance, initiating an automatic cleaning sequence for one or more lint filters, and combinations thereof.
WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine includes: a tub; a drum; an induction heater disposed in a position spaced apart from the drum and configured to heat the drum; an input power source; a relay configured to interrupt a current applied to the coil of the induction heater from the input power source; a first processor configured to control the relay; and a safety device connected to a circuit connecting the first processor and the relay. The safety device includes: a first thermostat configured to operate according to a temperature of a first air between the drum and the tub, and open the circuit when the temperature of the first air is a first safety control temperature; and a thermal fuse configured to operate according to a temperature of a second air outside the tub, and open the circuit when the temperature of the second air is a second safety control temperature.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT BASED CLOTHES HANDLING APPARATUS AND DRIVING METHOD OF THE SAME
Disclosed herein is an artificial intelligence-based laundry treating apparatus. The artificial intelligence-based laundry treating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention receives big data about information of an external environment capable of affecting laundry and life log data including activity information of a user wearing the laundry and automatically sets an optimal laundry management course for the laundry based on input factors including the big data and the life log data. Further, the artificial intelligence-based laundry treating apparatus may operate based on the optimal laundry management course to clean the laundry.
