Provided is an adhesive composition for organic fiber cords containing (A) synthetic rubber latex having unsaturated diene, (B) gelatin, and (C) an aqueous compound having a (thermal dissociative blocked) isocyanate group and containing no resorcin or formaldehyde, which has the following effects: (1) causing little damage to the environment by using no resorcin or formaldehyde, (2) in a process of coating an organic fiber cord with the adhesive composition for organic fiber cords and drying and heat curing, it is possible to suppress the adhesion of the adhesive composition for organic fiber cords to a roller or the like, thereby achieving good operability, and (3) achieving good adhesion between an organic fiber cord and a coated rubber composition.
FIBER MATERIAL FOR CEMENT REINFORCEMENT
Provided is a fiber material for cement reinforcement, configured such that a resin A containing an isocyanate compound as a constituent component is present inside a fiber bundled body, and a resin B containing an epoxy resin as a constituent component is present on a surface of the fiber bundled body. Further, it is preferable that the resin A contains a polyol or an epoxy compound as a constituent component in addition to the isocyanate compound, the resin B contains an acrylic-modified epoxy resin or a bisphenol-A epoxy resin as a main component, the fiber bundled body has a tensile strength of 7 cN/dtex or more, and the fiber bundled body includes 50 to 3,000 single fibers. The invention is also addressed to a concrete or mortar molded article using the above fiber material for reinforcement.
FIBER MATERIAL FOR CEMENT REINFORCEMENT
Provided is a fiber material for cement reinforcement, configured such that a resin A containing an isocyanate compound as a constituent component is present inside a fiber bundled body, and a resin B containing an epoxy resin as a constituent component is present on a surface of the fiber bundled body. Further, it is preferable that the resin A contains a polyol or an epoxy compound as a constituent component in addition to the isocyanate compound, the resin B contains an acrylic-modified epoxy resin or a bisphenol-A epoxy resin as a main component, the fiber bundled body has a tensile strength of 7 cN/dtex or more, and the fiber bundled body includes 50 to 3,000 single fibers. The invention is also addressed to a concrete or mortar molded article using the above fiber material for reinforcement.

The present disclosure provides: an adhesive composition capable of realizing good adhesion even when neither resorcin nor formalin is included therein; and a rubber-organic fiber cord composite and a tire, which are excellent in adhesion between rubber and organic fiber cords and make a low impact on the environment. Specifically, the present invention provides an adhesive composition for an organic fiber cord, comprising therein: an epoxy compound (A); a compound (B) having an amide group and an amino group per molecule; and rubber latex (C). Further, the present disclosure provides a rubber-organic fiber cord composite, comprising a rubber member and an organic fiber cord, wherein at least a portion of the organic fiber cord is coated with the adhesive composition described above.

A zwitterionic resin is manufactured by a manufacturing method which includes the following steps. A first thermal process is performed on a first crosslinking agent and a choline having hydroxyl group or amino group to form a first mixture, in which the first crosslinking agent includes an isocyanate group. A second thermal process is performed on the first mixture, a second crosslinking agent, a chain extender, and an amino acid to form the zwitterionic resin, in which the chain extender includes a polyol.

The present invention provides a fiber sizing agent composition containing a polyester resin (A) and a reactive compound (B), wherein the polyester resin (A) is a polyester resin having an HLB of 4 to 18 and a viscosity at 30° C. of 10 to 1,000,000 Pa.Math.s, the reactive compound (B) is at least one reactive compound selected from the group consisting of blocked isocyanates, tertiary amines, tertiary amine salts, quaternary ammonium salts, quaternary phosphonium salts, and phosphine compounds, and the weight ratio of the polyester resin (A) to the reactive compound (B) [(A)/(B)] in the fiber sizing agent composition is 99.9/0.1 to 10/90.

The present invention provides a fiber sizing agent composition containing a polyester resin (A) and a reactive compound (B), wherein the polyester resin (A) is a polyester resin having an HLB of 4 to 18 and a viscosity at 30° C. of 10 to 1,000,000 Pa.Math.s, the reactive compound (B) is at least one reactive compound selected from the group consisting of blocked isocyanates, tertiary amines, tertiary amine salts, quaternary ammonium salts, quaternary phosphonium salts, and phosphine compounds, and the weight ratio of the polyester resin (A) to the reactive compound (B) [(A)/(B)] in the fiber sizing agent composition is 99.9/0.1 to 10/90.
SURFACE-MODIFIED FIBERS, REINFORCING FIBERS, AND MOLDED ARTICLE USING SAME
To provide surface-modified fibers and reinforcing fibers that are capable of enhancing the adhesiveness to rubber, without the use of resorcinol and formaldehyde, and a molded article using the same. Surface-modified fibers include fibers, and a surface-modifying layer covering at least a part of a surface of the fibers, and have a solid surface zeta potential on a surface of the surface-modifying layer of −20.0 to 30.0 mV.
Method for producing water repellent down
A method for producing water repellent down includes soaking cleaned down in an aqueous solution having a pH ranging from 4 to 7; adding to the solution a cross-linking agent composed of a material having an isocyanate or acrylic acid functional group to provide a solution having a weight ratio of the down and the cross-linking agent ranging between 1:0.005 and 1:0.06; adding to the solution a water-drawing agent composed of a material having a siloxane functional group to provide a solution having a weight ratio of the down and the water-drawing agent ranging between 1:0.01 and 1:0.1; stirring the solution for at least 15 minutes to react the cross-linking agent and the water-drawing agent and form a water repellent layer on the surface of the down; separating the down from the solution; and oven drying the down with hot air having a temperature of at least 120° C.
