Disclosed is a massage beauty instrument, which includes a main body. The main body includes a host and a beauty massage head connected to the host. The beauty massage head is provided with a vibration portion therein. The vibration portion includes a driving motor fixed in the beauty massage head, a first eccentric wheel and a second eccentric wheel connected in series to both ends of an output shaft of the driving motor, respectively.

A method of treating a patient exhibiting paralysis by applying shockwaves or acoustic pulses to the affected region to reduce or relieve unintended paralysis has the steps of: activating an acoustic shock wave or acoustic wave generator or source to emit acoustic shock waves or pulses from a fixed acoustic wave source or a handheld shock wave head or from electrodes embedded within a catheter with or without a fluid filled balloon catheter; and administering a plurality of acoustic shock or acoustic waves in a pulse or wave pattern within the targeted tissue of less than 10.0 mJ/mm.sup.2 per shock wave, the plurality of acoustic shock or acoustic waves in a pulse or wave pattern should be directed to a portion of the affected region.

The present invention is a hand-held, battery operated facial massager. The facial massager includes a palm-sized base unit and one or more interchangeable heads. A multi-functional portable skin care device comprises: a roller unit including a first roller and a second roller and an insulating ring member; a connecting unit including a shaft member passing through centers of the first and second rollers and the insulating ring member, a conductive pipe coupled to the rear end of the shaft member and electrically connected to any one of the first and second rollers, and a conductive rod installed along the hollows of the conductive pipe and the shaft member and electrically connected to any one of the first and second rollers; and a main body unit connected to the roller unit, a battery installed inside the main body case, a control circuit board for controlling power supplied to the first and second rollers, a control button for selecting current supplied to the first and second rollers, and an LED display for displaying the operating state.

A cold plasma system and method for treating a region of a biological surface is presented. In one embodiment, the system includes: a housing; an air conduit within the housing; a first electrode configured proximately along the air conduit; a second electrode configured proximately along the air conduit and opposite from the first electrode; and a source of alternating current (AC) electrically connected with the first electrode. The source of alternating current is configured to generate cold plasma in the air conduit.

A shower head includes a handle and a head portion. The head portion includes shower holes. The handle includes an upstream bubble generator that generates minute bubbles in water. A mask according to an embodiment comprises: a body having a shape corresponding to a user's face; a first recess disposed on one surface of the body, opposite to the user's face; and a piezoelectric part disposed in the first recess, wherein the first recess has a shape recessed outward from the one surface of the body and is disposed in a region corresponding to at least one of the user's brow region and eye rim regions, and the piezoelectric unit protrudes beyond the one surface toward the user.
