STIMULATION METHODS AND APPARATUS
The present methods and apparatus can provide improved efficacy with improved tolerance. The methods and apparatus can be configured to alter the stimulus, which can decrease neural adaptation of the subject and provide an improved response. The acoustic stimulus can be delivered as a tone, which can make the stimulus more acceptable to the subject receiving the stimulus. The stimulus may comprise a varying stimulus in order to decrease neural adaptation to the stimulus. The stimulus can be varied by varying one or more of a duty cycle, a frequency, or a shape of the waveform. The waveform may comprise a plurality of individual pulses, in which the waveform varies among pulses of the plurality. Acoustic stimulation can be combined with electrical stimulation. The device may comprise a plurality of sensors to determine the response of the subject.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for treating medical conditions such as neurological disorders. A user device can be used to communicate with a user and can be used to control a treatment device. The treatment device can be an ear pressure treatment device. The system can execute treatment parameter profiles, and selection of the treatment parameter profiles can depend, at least in part, on feedback provided by the user, such as via the user device. One, two, or more nerves associated with target anatomical locations (e.g., one or both ears) can be stimulated. Some embodiments involve combination therapy including stimulating one or more nerves associated with at least one ear with a first stimulus modality, and a second stimulus modality that is the same as, or different from the first stimulus modality.
BIOPHOTONIC MASK INSTRUMENT AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
This invention is to be applied to a person's ear. The biophotonic mask instrument consists of an ear covering component, an ear attachment component, and multiple light emitting units. The biophotonic mask instrument is connected to an external intelligent electronic device with an application to control the operation of the light emitting units. The attachment component is to be clipped onto the body of the ear with the ear covering component connected to it. The multiple light emitting units are arranged to be 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm apart or 0.65 mm to 1.5 mm apart. The light emitting units are in a net design and their wave lengths are between 400 nm to 1000 nm. The biophotonic mask instrument is wirelessly connected to the intelligence device.
LIGHT TOUCH THERAPEUTIC HEADSET
The present invention discloses a wireless and self-contained headset that delivers an electronic signal to a precise and self-locating position within bilateral conchae in both ears of a human user. The headset comprises an electronics housing that carries a specific waveform source. The waveform source generates the electronic signal, which is delivered simultaneously to both left and right ears of the human user. An array of silver electrodes housed within the bilateral earpieces cover with precision the location at the exact center of the relatively smooth plane of the conchae directly behind the external auditory meatus (ear opening/canal).
Acupressure gloves and/or finger cots with pellets
The invention, acupressure gloves/cots with attached single/multiple pellets are made of various materials. The materials such as cloth, rubber, leather, latex, neoprene, and knitted wool are used for making the gloves/cots. The pellets are made from stainless steel, 24k gold plated stainless steel, silver, titanium, magnetics, or Vaccaria seeds. The single or multiple pellets will be attached in the distal area on the palm surface of the gloves/cots. These five finger gloves or individual cots (thumb and index finger) can be worn by an individual like any other typical gloves, for the application of pressure on acupressure points for treatment. It provides people an alternative method of receiving acupressure treatment using gloves/cots that can be used anytime and/or anywhere to apply pressure on specific body/ear acupressure points to relieve any corresponding pathological ailments.
Treatment of allergies and autoimmune diseases
The present disclosure provides a method of treating allergies and autoimmune diseases using microsystem acupuncture. Methods provided herein for treating allergies and autoimmune diseases using microsystem acupuncture involving a novel allergy zone. In embodiments, the method includes identifying an allergy zone (AZ) (Soliman Allergy Zone (SAZ)) (FIG. 1 A) in an acupuncture microsystem of a subject in need of treatment and treating the zone to treat the allergy or autoimmune disease. In embodiments, treating the zone includes introducing an acupuncture needle in the zone. In particular embodiments, the method includes identifying one or more active points in the liver projection site of the AZ and treating the active point or points.
System and method for enhancing learning relating to a sound pattern
Systems and related methods for enhancing learning of a sound pattern or relating to a sound pattern are described. A sound output corresponding to the sound pattern is delivering to the subject, and a learning enhancing neural stimulus is delivered to a cranial nerve of the subject in association with the sound output. The neural stimulus may be, for example, a transcutaneous neural stimulus. In an aspect, the subject is prompted to mentally rehearse the sound pattern. Electrical control circuitry controls timing of delivery of sound outputs and neural stimuli. In some aspects, the system is implemented in connection with a personal computing device.
Method and system for controlling ear stimulation
Systems and related methods for controlling delivery of a stimulus to a pinna of a subject with a stimulator worn on the pinna are described. A wearable stimulation device includes a mechanical, electrical, or other type of stimulator secured to a pinna of a subject. A personal computing device in communication with the wearable stimulation device controls delivery of stimuli and other aspects of operation of the device. In some aspects recommendations regarding neural stimuli and other stimuli or experiences to be delivered in association with the neural stimuli are provided via a computing system in communication with the personal computing device or the wearable stimulation device.
