20240334885 · 2024-10-10 ·

The invention relates to a non-woven textile fabric of one or a combination of wool, hemp, cotton, cellulose and or other natural fibres, treated with a natural water proofing and fungicide solution for planter bags and pots. The planter bag or pot fabric enables superior air pruning of the plant roots. The bag or pot can be directly planted into the ground with the plant and biodegrades.

Fiber cloth having functional composite particles and preparation method therefor

The present application relates to fiber cloth having functional composite particles and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises: placing a solid metal block consisting of functional metal particles into a crucible using an evaporation and condensation process, and heating and evaporating the same into a vacuum physical vapor deposition (PVD) process furnace for condensation; depositing PVD ceramic layers on the outer surfaces of the functional metal particles under the condensed state using a PVD process to form the functional composite particles; and screening the functional composite particles by means of a particle filter and accelerating the particles to bombard the fiber cloth, thereby implanting the functional composite particles into the fiber cloth to form the fiber cloth having the functional composite particles. The functional composite particles in the present application can reduce contact between the internal functional metal particles and external oxygen, slowly release ionic metal ions of the functional metal particles, and prolong the action time of the functional metal particles. According to the present application, by implanting the functional composite particles into the fiber cloth, the fiber cloth with a long lasting antibacterial effect can be obtained.

The surface coated support material can be used in a composite material. The invention therefore further relates to the surface coated support material per se, a composite comprising the material, a process for the production of the composite material and an article produced from the composite material.

METHOD FOR PREPARING SALT-RESISTANT AND DETERGENT-RESISTANT ALGINATE FIBER

A method for preparing a salt-resistant and detergent-resistant alginate fiber by contacting and infiltrating a finished alginate fiber with a borate-containing adjuvant solution and using selected proper raw materials in selected proportions and reaction conditions. The preparation method solves the problem that the alginate fiber and a fabric made therefrom are neither salt-resistant nor detergent-resistant. The borate-modified alginate fiber and a fabric made therefrom have excellent salt resistances, and can be washed with an alkaline detergent. The swelling degree of the alginate fiber modified by the adjuvant solution can be reduced to 39.8% after the fiber is immersed in a normal saline at 30 C. for 72 h and can be reduced to 55.3% after the fiber is immersed in a standard detergent for 24 h, while the fiber maintains its original morphology without any obvious dissolution phenomenon, and the self flame-resisting performance of the alginate fiber is also maintained.

A composite yarn derived from material that is known to be environmentally friendly, and which is then coated with polyurethane is disclosed. Specifically, the composite yarn is derived from ocean waste and then wrapped or twisted with cotton or other materials. The ocean waste comprises recycled PET fibers that are blended with almost any fiber type, but most commonly with cotton, nylon, polyester, hemp, or wool. The composite yarn is then coated with polyurethane to produce a more sustainable coated material. The polyurethane-coated yarn is then used as a base material for care labels, and the total construction is thermal transfer printable, and can be printed with standard inks.
