The invention also discloses an insulating fiber having the composition on its surface, the preparation method for it, and an insulating yarn and an insulated cord. The insulated fibers, yarns and ropes of the invention have the advantages of moisture resistance, washing resistance, ultraviolet aging resistance and the like. Particularly, the insulated ropes can be applied to the charging work of transmission lines, especially the UHV transmission lines.
ANTIVIRAL FABRIC
An antiviral fabric including a fabric and an antiviral coating layer which is provided in the fabric and which includes an antiviral fusion protein having an antiviral motif bound to an adhesive protein. The antiviral fabric has excellent processability that enables simple implementation of the antiviral coating layer even on the curved surface of a fiber, the porous surface of a fabric, or a recessed or protruding surface. In addition, the antiviral fabric can have activity persistence that enable maintenance of antiviral activity for a long time without losing the same according to a condition during preparation, storage, use and washing, while having adhesion persistence that enables the maintenance of an adhesive state for a long time after the antiviral coating layer is formed on the surface thereof, and thus can be widely applied to various articles for which fabric is used.

Also disclosed is a composition comprising a modified cellulosic surface including low surface energy molecules and amine functionalized nanotubes decorated with silica nanoparticles that are covalently bonded to cellulose fibers of the cellulosic surface. Also disclosed is a process for increasing hydrophobicity of a cellulosic surface. Also disclosed is a process for increasing hydrophobicity and surface roughness of a cellulosic surface. Also disclosed are products comprising the compositions and modified cellulosic surfaces of the present invention.
SOIL-RESISTANT, STAIN-RESISTANT COATINGS AND METHODS OF APPLYING ON TEXTILE OR OTHER FLEXIBLE MATERIALS
A process of fabricating the composition coating may include selecting a textile material substrate, utilizing a sol-gel comprising a silane or silane derivative and metal oxide precursor to coat the substrate, and optionally coating the substrate with a hydrophobic chemical agent and/or other chemical agents to create a surface with nanoscopic or microscopic features. The process may utilize an all solution process or controlled environment for fabricating a composition coating that prevent wetting or staining of a substrate. The composition coatings for treating textile materials improve soil-resistance and stain-resistance of the textile materials. The composition coatings and their use for treating textile materials can also impart water repellency, oil repellency, ease of cleaning stains and removing particulates. In addition, the composite solution may impart additional properties such as physical strength to the textile whilst retaining the original appearance.
No Sweat Marks Fabric with Moisture Management Function
Examples of a knitted or woven fabric with moisture management function are described, comprising a face fabric layer with a durable water repellency (DWR) additives forming a fabric outer surface that is hydrophobic and a back fabric layer comprising a second yarn that is highly hydrophilic forming a moisture regain core to absorb the moisture and spread it across on an inside surface of the back fabric layer. The outer (face) layer of the fabric is hydrophobic due to the added DWR additives to the first yarn while the inner (back) layer of the fabric is highly hydrophilic that absorbs and spreads the moisture across the inner side of the back layer so that it dries faster making the outer surface of the face fabric layer dry thus reducing the occurrence of water I liquid spots on the face layer outer surface.
