Polyurethane coated fabric

A method for making a polyurethane coated fabric, the method comprising: a) providing a fabric liner; b) applying a coating to at least part of the liner, said coating comprising a polyurethane resin and manganese ferrite dissolved in a polar aprotic solvent; c) at least partially gelling the coating with water or an aqueous solution, so that the polar aprotic solvent is extracted from the coating; d) leaching the at least partially gelled coating with water or an aqueous solution, so as to further reduce the level of the polar aprotic solvent in the coating; and e) drying and curing the coating. The coating may also contain a dark colour pigment. A composition suitable for use in the method is also provided. The method enables polyurethane coated fabric products, such as gloves, to be produced which are black or grey in colour and contain a reduced amount of residual polar aprotic solvent, such as N,N-dimethylformamide.

SYNTHETIC LEATHER
20200157736 · 2020-05-21 · ·

Provided is synthetic leather with wrinkling and springiness similar to those of natural leather. The synthetic leather has a grain pattern and is obtained by laminating a polyurethane resin layer on a fibrous substrate. A stiffness of the front surface of the synthetic leather is 65 to 95 mm and a stiffness of a rear surface of the synthetic leather is 55 to 85 mm.

SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
20200141052 · 2020-05-07 · ·

A synthetic leather comprising a substrate, a skin layer that is disposed on one main surface of the substrate, and an anti-stain layer that is disposed to cover the skin layer. The anti-stain layer contains a base resin that comprises silicon and a unit derived from a compound that has a urethane bond. In the anti-stain layer, a fluorine atom/silicon atom atomic ratio, which is a proportion of a fluorine atom to the silicon atom, is 0.01 or less. A first color difference E1* between before and after a stain adhesion test performed on the synthetic leather rubbed under a specific condition is 5 or less.

THIN COATED SUPPORTED GLOVE

A thin coated supported glove (400), having a thin knitted liner (300), wherein the thin knitted liner has a plurality of finger components, a thumb component (402), a backhand component (420), and a palm component. The thin knitted liner comprises a covered yarn having a first yarn (100) and a second yarn (200), wherein the first yarn (102) is a core yarn that is 20 denier or less, and a second yarn, wherein the second yarn (104) is at least one of an intermingled yarn or a first wrapping yarn surrounding the core yarn, wherein the second yarn is 30 denier or less; and a thin polymeric coating adhered to the thin knitted liner.

ENVIRONMENTAL-FREIDNELY ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present disclosure is relates to an environmental-friendly artificial leather and a method of manufacturing the same. The manufacturing method of the environmental-friendly artificial leather includes steps in which a first fiber web is formed by meltblown. The method continues with step in which a filament fabric is disposed on the first fiber web. The method continues with step in which a second fiber web is meltblown on the filament fabric, so as to form a multilayer fiber structure. The method continues with step in which the multilayer fiber structure is heat pressed to form the environmental-friendly artificial leather.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A THERMALLY INSULATING LAYER
20190382952 · 2019-12-19 · ·

Process for the simple and practical application of a relatively thick heat-insulating layer to a surface to be insulated by: (a) applying a porous substrate consisting of a spacer fabric to the surface of an article, which surface is to be insulated; (b) filling the porous substrate with a heat-insulating formulation; (c) curing the formulation filled into the porous substrate.

LACELESS SHOE

Described is a shoe upper for a shoe, in particular an athletic shoe, wherein the shoe upper is laceless and comprises: (a.) a lateral portion; (b.) a medial portion; and (c.) at least an elastic intermediate portion between the lateral portion and the medial portion, wherein the stiffness of at least one of the lateral portion and the medial portion is at least 2 times higher than the stiffness of the elastic intermediate portion.

SYNTHETIC LEATHER

Provided is a synthetic leather including: a base fabric that has a limiting oxygen index of 25 or more, and that is a knitted body of a yarn including a flame-retardant fiber having a limiting oxygen index of 25 or more, a cellulose-based fiber, and a carbon fiber; an adhesion layer containing a flame retardant, the adhesion layer being provided at at least one side of the base fabric; and a skin layer provided at a side of the adhesion layer opposite from a side at which the base fabric is provided.

Weft-knitted spacer fabric and a preparation method thereof, use of the fabric for the preparation of a composite material and a composite material comprising the same

Described herein is a weft-knitted spacer fabric and a preparation method thereof, a polyurethane foam composite material including the fabric, a preparation method of the composite material and its use in shoe materials. The weft-knitted spacer fabric consists of an upper surface layer, intermediate spacer yarns, and a lower surface layer, and the upper surface and the lower surface layer are connected by the tuck of the spacer yarns in the upper surface and the lower surface layer to form a three-dimensional structure in an integrated manner. The different selected tuck needle changes the connecting distance and the number of connections of the tuck, and the thickness of the spacer fabric and the arrangement density of the spacer yarns are changed by the action of the upper and lower surface layers of elastic yarns.
