FIBER BASKET WITH WATER RETAINING LINER
20230397744 · 2023-12-14 ·

A system and associated method include coconut fiber liners used in hanging wire flower baskets. The coco fiber basket liner may create a water seal in the liner by over-coating a portion of the inner liner with a unique blend of all-natural rubber latex, then molding the liners into shape. The added latex coating may seal in and hold water in the bottom portion of the liner. This feature may keep the soil moist while still allowing air to flow thru the plants. The moisture and airflow may help promote healthier plants and roots and require less watering. Excess water beyond the intended amount may drain out thru the permeable side walls of the coco liner.

NATURAL NONWOVEN MATERIALS

There is described a nonwoven material comprising a multilayered stack, the multilayered stack comprising discrete interconnected layers, each of the layers, which may be the same or different, comprising a composite fibre of from about 80 to 100% w/w leaf or stem fibre and from about 1 to 20% w/w of a polymer, wherein the polymer is fusible at a temperature of about 180° C. or less.

There is also described a novel method of enzyme degumming leaf and/or stem fibres.

Anti-pilling merino wool fabric, garments comprising thereof, and method of fabrication thereof

The present invention provides an anti-pilling wool fabric with a coating having pilling resistance and resistance to fiber loss from fabric surface. The coating is formed by a coating formulation including at least two diisocyanates, at least two catalyst, a water dispersing agent, a buffer and water, which provides a polycarbodiimide crosslinker reactive to the relative less reactive groups on polypeptide of the wool fabric and promotes crosslinking between polypeptides of the wool fabric under relatively mild processing conditions so as to enhance mechanical strength of the wool fabric whilst no significant effect of the original finish merino wool fabric and/or garment and fiber loss from fabric surface are observed, compared to conventional treatment methods on wool fabric. A corresponding coating formulation and method of fabricating the anti-pilling wool fabric are also provided. The present invention is applicable to finished wool fabric which fibers are already with colorant(s), and/or dye(s), and/or reactive dye(s).

EASY-TO-CLEAN WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE BIB FABRIC, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND BIB INCLUDING THE SAME
20230404174 · 2023-12-21 · ·

The invention involves the technical field of daily necessities, and in particular, relates to an easy-to-clean waterproof and breathable bib fabric, a preparation method, and a bib. A layer structure of the bib fabric is as follows: a hydrophobic and oleophobic surface layer, a polyurethane waterproof layer, an antibacterial and antistatic layer, and a woven layer. The hydrophobic and oleophobic surface layer has waterproof and breathable properties, is not easy to be adhered to by dirt, and is easy to clean. The polyurethane waterproof layer keeps liquids from penetrating the fabric, and the porous structure also allows for breathability. The antibacterial and antistatic layer can remove the static electricity generated by the fabric, protect the polyurethane waterproof layer from being decomposed by molds, inhibit the growth of bacteria inside the woven layer, and produce antibacterial and deodorizing effects. Further, a bib using the fabric and a preparation method are provided.

Aqueous stain resistant coated artificial leather and manufacturing method therefor
10927495 · 2021-02-23 · ·

The present invention relates to a method for producing an eco-friendly artificial leather by treating a polyurethane artificial leather with an aqueous stain resistant coating agent, and an aqueous stain resistant coated polyurethane artificial leather produced thereby. Without organic solvents in the stain resistant treatment process therefor, the artificial leather is eco-friendly and exhibits a uniform stain resistant effect thereacross uniformly due to the uniform and rapid drying of the stain resistant coating layer even in the absence of heating at a high temperature, and thus the coating layer is not thermally strained.
