POLYVINYL CHLORIDE ARTIFICIAL LEATHER WITHOUT A FOAMING STRUCTURE
A polyvinyl chloride artificial leather without a foaming structure is provided. The polyvinyl chloride artificial leather includes a base fabric layer and a top fabric layer directly formed on the base fabric layer. The top fabric layer has a solid structure extendedly formed from one surface of the top fabric layer to the base fabric layer, and the solid structure is formed by a fabric composition. The solid structure has a predetermined thickness. The fabric composition includes 40 to 70 parts by weight of a polyvinyl chloride resin and 30 to 60 parts by weight of a polymer plasticizer. A weight average molecular weight of the polymer plasticizer is within a range from 1,500 to 6,000, a molecular structure of the polymer plasticizer has at least one soft segment that is in a linear shape, and the at least one soft segment has an ether group.
IMAGE SENSOR WITH IN-PIXEL BACKGROUND SUBTRACTION AND MOTION DETECTION
An imaging system includes a pixel array configured to generate image charge voltage signals in response to incident light received from an external scene. An infrared illumination source is deactivated during the capture of a first image of the external scene and activated during the capture of a second image of the external scene. An array of sample and hold circuits is coupled to the pixel array. Each sample and hold circuit is coupled to a respective pixel of the pixel array and includes first and second capacitors to store first and second image charge voltage signals of the captured first and second images, respectively. A column voltage domain differential amplifier is coupled to the first and second capacitors to determine a difference between the first and second image charge voltage signals to identify an object in a foreground of the external scene.
Environmentally friendly rubber composition
Belting for use in a conveyor. The belting includes a fabric base and an environmentally friendly rubber composition. The environmentally friendly rubber composition is applied to at least one surface of the fabric base. The environmentally friendly rubber composition includes a rubber component, a filler, a processing oil and a vulcanizing agent. The filler is provided at a concentration of between about 50 and 150 parts per hundred weight of the rubber component. The processing oil is substantially devoid of aromatic oil. The processing oil is provided at a concentration of between about 20 and 60 parts per hundred weight of the rubber component. The vulcanizing agent is provided at a concentration of between about 1 and 10 parts per hundred weight of the rubber component.
Bio-based polyelectrolyte complex compositions with increased hydrophobicity comprising fatty compounds
The invention relates to a bio-based polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) composition suitable as a binder for fiber based materials, textiles, woven and nonwoven materials, said PEC composition comprising cationic biopolymer, anionic biopolymer, acid and a preservative, and wherein the net charge of the PEC is cationic, the charge ratio of the anionic polymer and the cationic polymer is ≤1, the cationic biopolymer is chitosan, the anionic biopolymer is a polyanion derived from nature, the acid is a Brønsted acid and/or a Lewis acid, wherein the Brønsted acid is selected from any organic and/or inorganic acids, and wherein the Lewis acid is selected from any cationic mono- or multivalent atom, the weight ratio between cation and anion is 1:0.1 to 1:20, the weight ratio between the cation and acid is 1:0.01 to 1:30, chitosan has a degree of deacetylation being 66-100%, the pH is less than 7, and wherein said composition further comprises one or more fatty compounds as well as methods and use thereof. The present invention further relates to a method for preparing the PEC composition, uses of the PEC composition, as well as method of treating materials with the PEC composition.
FAUX-LEATHER BIOMATERIAL
A faux leather biomaterial is disclosed. It may be made from shell seafood waste and coffee grounds with the aim to work as a sustainable alternative instead of prior art faux and animal leathers.
NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR ORAL POUCHED PRODUCT, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING A NONWOVEN FABRIC
A nonwoven fabric for manufacturing an oral pouched product, where the nonwoven fabric is chewable to increase its liquid permeability. When the nonwoven fabric is used to form a pouch, it may thus control the release of substances from within the pouch. The nonwoven fabric can be formed by applying a diffusion restricting treatment to a base nonwoven fabric. The diffusion restricting treatment may include any of (a) incorporating a digestible compound; (b) incorporating a superabsorbent polymer; (c) incorporating a hydrophobic material; and (d) forming a deformable barrier layer.
Solvent free textile coating
