Apparatus and method for deploying a surgical preparation
A device used for applying an antiseptic preparation, such as an antibiotic solution or water, or all other substance deemed necessary in treating a wound prior to arrival at a hospital or other treatment facility or for continuing wound therapy and maintenance while hospitalized, in an out-patient facility or at home. A loose-fitting bag is provided which encloses the wound by securing the open end(s) to the patient by closing means. The bag further includes ports or resealable flaps that allow access to the wound for treatment and cleaning while containing all fluids resulting therefrom. A high friction scrub surface is provided in the bag. A method and apparatus are also provided for wound maintenance with a lavage system.
HUMAN BODY STIMULATION UNIT AND HUMAN BODY STIMULATION DEVICE INCLUDING HUMAN BODY STIMULATION UNIT
A human body stimulation unit and a human body stimulation device including the human body stimulation unit. A human body stimulation unit provides a sonic vibration massage to a body of a user. The sonic vibration module includes a housing, a sonic vibration generator that generates sonic vibration inside the housing, and a head connected to the sonic vibration generator and configured to transmit the generated sonic vibration to the body of the user in order for the sonic vibration massage. The housing partially surrounds the head to expose a portion of an upper portion of the head from the housing, and the exposed portion of the head is formed such that the head comes into contact with the body of the user even when the sonic vibration module is positioned at a maximum rotation angle in the preset rotation angle range.
Joint Cracking Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of joint cracking. More specifically, the present invention relates to a joint cracking device. The device is primarily comprised of a body further comprised of at least one vertical support, at least one cushion, at least one hinge, at least one semi-circular member, and a base. To use the device, a user steps onto the base and positions their body within the semi-circular member. The user then presses a button to inflate an inflatable cuff on the interior surface of the member such that the user is secured within the member. Then, the member is rotated upwards such that the back of the user is cracked on the cushion, which is preferably convex in shape. Then, the member is returned to its original position, wherein the user can then crouch downwards to exit the member.
CRUTCH AND SITTING DEVICE
Devices for improvement of the basic crutch, cane, and ambulatory aids to provide needed support to ameliorate potential injuries and improve ambulation for persons suffering from injured lower limbs, lumbar region or other injuries, and who frequently require using crutches for mobility. Normally, the conventional crutches require more energy from the user than merely walking, and frequently, a crutch user may require rest. Prior crutch systems have not provided a convenient way to provide the user with such rest. Also, we show crutch support in sitting position that works as a simple and handy decompression system for herniated or bulged discs and injured/weak back muscles. An integrated crutch and walker system is described.
ROLLABLE DEVICE WITH FEATURES AIDING SOFT TISSUE RELEASE AND MUSCLE LOOSENING
A rollable apparatus includes a housing being annular in shape, a heating element mounted about the exterior of the housing, a vibration-inducing motor mounted in the interior of the housing and attached thereto, and a set of batteries mounted in the interior of the housing. The set of batteries is provided for powering the heating element to control the temperature of the housing and for powering the vibration motor to induce oscillatory motion in the housing. The apparatus also includes a set of user controls mounted so as to be accessible at the exterior of the housing, a front cover removably mounted so as to form a portion of the exterior of the housing at one end thereof, and a skin of pliable cushioning material covering the housing.
A MULTIFUNCTIONAL APPARATUS
A device for physiotherapy includes at least a seating surface and a back rest. The back rest is provided with arm holders positionable under a person's underarms. The back rest is also provided with powered apparatus to move the arm holders in a direction away from the seating surface, thereby to lift a person off the seating surface, and to return the person to the seating surface.
Pulmonary vest for electro-sonic stimulation treatment
A device and method for loosening mucous secretions from a subjects lungs including a vest-like garment having enclosures thereon, the enclosures containing one or more sonic transducers, the output face of which is arranged to face the subject's body, the sonic transducers configured to repeatedly emit sonic bursts having a duration of about 10 to about 50 milliseconds at one or more frequencies ranging from 100 Hz-400 Hz, at a rate of about one to about four bursts per second.
Chair-type massage machine
A chair-type massage machine includes a main body on which a person to be treated is to be seated, a holding part at least part of which is placed inside a container recess to hold a first operation unit, and a moving mechanism for moving the holding part. The holding part is reciprocatably moved between a first position in which the first operation unit is contained in the container recess and a second position in which the first operation unit is exposed. The chair-type massage machine further includes a second operation unit for moving the holding part.
SPINAL ORTHOPEDIC EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
Proposed is spinal orthopedic exercise equipment which can obtain an improved exercise effect related to spinal orthopedics with a simple structure. The spinal orthopedic exercise equipment supporting a user's back and waist to apply pressure thereto includes: a first body having a plurality of first protrusions protruding therefrom, a second body coupled to the first body and having a plurality of second protrusions protruding therefrom, a flexible connector located between the first body and the second body to be bendably coupled thereto, and a removable rolling bar coupled to a bottom surface of the first body or the second body having no protrusion and supporting the first body or the second body, the removable rolling bar causing the first body or the second body to perform a seesaw movement relative to a support point thereof.
Protective cover system
A protective member having a flexible member body defining an interior space adapted to receive a motion element and which extends to a peripheral margin releasably attachable to an external surface of a housing enclosing a drive unit operable to move the motion element inside of the flexible member body. whereby the protective member prevents entanglement of hair or fur with the drive unit or motion element.
