FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN INTERMEDIATE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material, including not only a thermoplastic resin but also a thermosetting resin, in which defects such as voids are difficult to be generated and which is excellent in shaping ability; and a method for manufacturing the same. The fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material according to the present invention is a fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material formed by attaching a resin to an outer surface part of a reinforcing fiber substrate formed of reinforcing fibers subjected to opening and heating the resin to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the resin to impregnate the reinforcing fiber substrate with the resin, wherein the reinforcing fiber substrate has void space that is opened on an outer surface thereof and the resin is in a semi-impregnated state.
Impregnation system and method for impregnating a textile fabric for composite components
An impregnation system and a method for impregnating a textile fabric for composite components are described. A matrix 2 can be applied to a textile fabric 1 in such a way that the matrix 2 penetrates it at least partially and/or at least on one side. A first and a second endless belt 1 each designed as a belt loop are provided for the impregnation system. Between the first 4 and the second belt loop 5, the textile fabric 1 can guided on the mutually facing surfaces 6 of the belt loops and can be impregnated there. The deflection rollers 7 are provided in the respective belt loop 4, 5 of the respective endless belts at the deflection areas, with at least one roller being adjustable in the direction of the mutually facing surfaces 6 of the belt loops 4, 5. By adjusting the rollers 8 in the y direction, the wrap angle and thus the pressure exerted on the textile fabric during impregnation is controlled.
Polyimide composition
A preparation method of separation membrane is provided. First, a polyimide composition including a dissolvable polyimide, a crosslinking agent, and a solvent is provided. The dissolvable polyimide is represented by formula 1: ##STR00001## wherein B is a tetravalent organic group derived from a tetracarboxylic dianhydride containing aromatic group, A is a divalent organic group derived from a diamine containing aromatic group, A′ is a divalent organic group derived from a diamine containing aromatic group and carboxylic acid group, and 0.1≤X≤0.9. The crosslinking agent is an aziridine crosslinking agent, an isocyanate crosslinking agent, an epoxy crosslinking agent, a diamine crosslinking agent, or a triamine crosslinking agent. A crosslinking process is performed on the polyimide composition. The polyimide composition which has been subjected to the crosslinking process is coated on a substrate to form a polyimide membrane. A dry phase inversion process is performed on the polyimide membrane.
Non-penetrating multi-layer continuous hose and a preparation method thereof
A non-penetrating multi-layer continuous hose and a preparation method thereof are provided. The hose includes an outer coating, a reinforcement layer, and an inner coating. The inner coating and the outer coating can have one or more layers with different materials and have an adjustable thickness. The hose is prepared by simultaneously performing extrusion coating inside and outside the reinforcement layer rather than penetrating the fiber reinforcement layer. The hose exhibits improved layer-to-layer adhesion and has high strength, and continuous production can be achieved to meet the length requirement in various kinds of construction, which has high applicability.
POLYOLEFIN-BASED SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND ARTICLES FORMED THEREFROM
A variety of plates for footwear are provided including a polyolefin resin. Sole structures and articles of footwear formed therefrom are also provided. Methods of making the polyolefin resin compositions, plates, sole structures, and articles of footwear are also provided. In some aspects, the polyolefin resin composition includes an effective amount of a polymeric resin modifier. The effective amount can be an amount effective to allow the resin composition to pass a flex test, and in particular to pass a flex test without significant change in abrasion loss. In some aspects, the resin composition also includes a clarifying agent to improve optical clarity of the plate. In some aspects, the plates include a textile disposed on one or both of a first side and the second side of the plate. The textile can provide for improved bonding of the plate to other components such as a chassis or an upper.
Water repellent product and method for producing water repellent product
A water repellent product includes a water repellent fabric in which a non-fluorine-based water repellent agent is applied to a fabric formed of a fiber; and a resin component attached to the water repellent fabric. The water repellent product contains substantially no cross-linking agent for chemically bonding the non-fluorine-based water repellent agent and the fiber.
Artificial Fur and Method for Manufacturing Same
An object of the present invention is to provide an artificial fur which has a sufficient moisture-absorbing property and reduces energy required for the manufacture. The artificial fur according to this invention includes an artificial protein fiber.
Cotton performance products and methods of their manufacture
Performance fabrics and methods of manufacturing them where the fabric is knit or woven cotton and cotton elastane blends to which a moisture-management treatment of wax or wax emulsion is applied to one side of the woven or knitted fabric. The treated fabric is wicking, absorbent and not water repellant or water resistant.
