A tissue expander configured to be worn by a user having a shell having an aperture formed within the shell to receive tissue expanded by a distracting force. The shell has a skirt providing a skin contact surface area against the skin of the patient, the aperture defining an aperture surface area, wherein the skin contact surface area is greater than the aperture surface area, and wherein the skirt is non-fixedly attached to the skin of the patient and slides laterally outwardly.

A physiotherapeutic device comprises a skin soaker for soaking a portion of the user's skin with a liquid when the device is attached to the user. The soaker comprises a tub for receiving the liquid and a resilient seal at a brim of the tub for sealing engagement with the skin to prevent leak of the liquid. The device also has an electrical stimulator comprising a first electrode and a second electrode for contacting the skin to stimulate tissues under the soaked portion of the skin. The soaked portion of the skin extends between the electrodes and the electrodes are isolated from the liquid.

A tactile array patch of micro-vibratory devices is attachable to a garment and worn by a second user. The touch pattern data is wirelessly received from the first user device via the network. Vibration of selected micro-vibratory devices of the tactile array is modulated in timing and intensity in response to the touch pattern data to reproduce the touch pattern.
