Smart weighted hula hoop
The present disclosure provides a smart weighted hula hoop including a first connecting frame, second connecting frames, and a connecting plate connected with a connecting head. The first connecting frame and the second connecting frames include protruding columns and fastening plates. Each protruding column is snapped on a corresponding fastening plate to make the first connecting frame connected to the second connecting frames. A housing is connected to the first connecting frame. A magnetic sensor is connected to the housing. The first connecting frame and the second connecting frame are connected to sleeves. The bottom end of each sleeve is connected to a respective spring. A fixing sleeve is arranged on each spring. Fixing sleeves are connected to top blocks. A connecting rope is arranged on the connecting head. The connecting rope passes through a lock ring. The lock ring passes through a tapered weight ball.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MODULATING A RESPIRATORY DRIVE OF A PATIENT
A mechanical ventilation system comprises a plurality of ventilation therapy sub-systems. Each of the ventilation therapy sub-systems is adapted to assist a respiratory function of the patient. The system also comprises a detector of the respiratory drive of the patient, an operator interface receiving one or more control parameters, and a main controller. The main controller assigns a therapeutic contribution to each of the ventilation therapy sub-systems based on the respiratory drive of the patient and on the control parameters. The controller modulates the respiratory drive of a patient by controlling each of the plurality of the ventilation therapy sub-systems according to its assigned therapeutic contribution. Distinct ventilation therapy sub-systems may apply negative pressure on the abdomen of the patient, deliver a non-pressurizing inspiratory flow to the patient, or induce a positive pressure in the airways of the patient.
MASSAGE ASSEMBLY, HUMAN BODY MASSAGE DEVICE, AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a massage assembly, a human body massage device and an operation method thereof. The massage assembly includes: a first massage arm; a first massage head, rotatably connected to the first massage arm to massage acupoints and skin near an anus along with a motion of the first massage arm relative to a human body; and a rotation locking structure, arranged between the first massage arm and the first massage head to adjust, lock or unlock a rotation angle of the first massage head relative to the first massage arm. According to the present disclosure, the massage mode of the acupoints near the anus can be adjusted as required, and the massage effect can be improved.
HYDROTHERAPY SOAKING CHAIR AND METHOD FOR USE
A soaking chair comprising: a seat surface and a support structure; wherein the chair is designed for use in a shower; and wherein the seat surface comprises a soaking reservoir. The chair provides hydrotherapy to the anogenital, hip, buttocks, and/or lower back areas.
ADJUSTABLE COMPRESSION GARMENT
Compression garments may include mitts and tightening apparatus to don, or put on, such compression garments. The mitts may be configured to receive a user's hand such that the user can move one or more portions of the garments using the mitts. The tightening apparatus may allow a user to selectively tighten or loosen the garments about the user's body portions. Once donned, the compression garments may apply pressure to one or more regions of the user's body such as, e.g., arm regions, shoulder regions, torso regions, and neck regions.
DEVICES FOR GASTROINTESTINAL STIMULATION AND USES THEREOF
A gastrointestinal stimulation devices including a random stimulation delivery mechanism(s), configured to provide stimuli to a bodily tissue in a vicinity of the stimulation capsule, the provided random stimuli being characterized by a stimulation parameter, and a control circuitry in communication with said physical stimulation delivery mechanism, and configured to set and alter the stimulation parameter non-systematically, thereby altering the characterization of the stimuli provided to the bodily tissue. The algorithm may be patient tailored, and may have a learning machinery which responds to data being received from the patient.
Core Stimulator and Stabilizer System and Method
Systems and methods for improved core work-out training are disclosed. In preferred embodiments, the CORE SET™ system discloses a flexible, comfortable belt having a pocket for securely receiving one or more weights and that tightly wraps around the abdomen of an exerciser. The weight is positioned over the abdomen, such that during on-the-back exercises, such as sit ups and crunches, the user's back is stabilized and positioned properly flat on the ground for isolated muscle work outs. An optional acupressure sheet to be applied to abdomen is also disclosed.
SPINAL MASSAGE DEVICE
A vibrating back massager with guide slot and vibrating heads is described. The guide slot is designed to restrict lateral movement of the massage device when the guide slot is engaged with a supporting member. The supporting member may be the edge of an open door, a corner, a vertical pole, or other generally available structure. The device includes a strap handle which may be draped over the user's shoulder and used to control the vertical position of the device. The described vibrating massage device allows a single user to create and maintain a significant amount of massage pressure without fatiguing his arms or relying on a second person. In a preferred embodiment, the controls for the vibrating massage device are incorporated into the strap handle so that the speed, intensity, and/or temperature may be controlled by the user without repositioning the device.
INGESTIBLE CAPSULES
An ingestible capsule includes a housing forming a cavity and having a textured outer surface. The textured outer surface forms a helical depression and a plurality of protruding studs disposed in the helical depression. The capsule further includes a therapeutic agent disposed in or on the housing. The capsule also includes a biodegradable coating on the textured outer surface of the housing, the biodegradable coating configured to dissolve in a fluid having a pH of 1.5 to 9.
Device and method for calibrating a non-invasive mechanically tactile and/or thermal neurostimulation
A device for stimulating neurons that includes a stimulation unit that applies mechanically tactile and/or thermal stimuli to the body surface of a patient that stimulate neurons with a pathologically synchronous and oscillatory neural activity. The device includes a measuring unit that records measurement signals of neural activity of the stimulated neurons, and a controller that controls the stimulation unit and analyzes the measurement signals. The controller actuates the stimulation unit to scan at least one part of the body surface of the patient along a path and thereby periodically applies stimuli and also selects two regions or more regions on the patient's body surface along the path where the phase synchronization between the periodic application of the stimuli and the neural activity of the stimulated neurons have a local maximum using the measurement signals. The stimuli are then applied in a delayed manner in the two regions.
