PRIMARY BACKING FOR ARTIFICIAL TURF, METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE AND ARTIFICIAL TURF COMPRISING THE PRIMARY BACKING
A primary backing having a component having a front surface and a rear surface, a second component having a front surface and a rear surface placed adjacent and plane-parallel to the first component, and an optional third component having a front surface and a rear surface placed adjacent and plane-parallel to the second component, wherein the first component comprises a two-dimensional material layer, an extruded sheet, and a non-woven fabric and/or a woven fabric. The second component comprises a three-dimensional structure, wherein the three-dimensional structure is build-up from macroscopic thermoplastic fibers, the fibers cross one another at crossing points and are thermally bonded to one another at their crossing points, and the third component comprises a further two-dimensional material layer, wherein the material layer comprises an extruded sheet, a non-woven fabric, a woven fabric and/or a two-dimensional layer of macroscopic fibers.
ARTIFICIAL TURF AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
Disclosed is an artificial turf. In the present disclosure, nylon is used as the main material. Through selecting straight fibers and curve fibers with certain cross-sectional shapes, lengths and widths and using the straight fiber and curve fiber together, the obtained grass fibers not only have relatively good temperature resistance, but also good handfeed, wear resistance, anti-aging performance, grass fiber resilience, trampling resistance and grass uprightness.
Non-woven structure with fibers catalyzed by a metallocene catalyst
A bonded and entangled non-woven structure made of at least 50% staple fibers by weight of the bonded and entangled non-woven structure, and at least a partial bonding of the fibers of the non-woven structure. The at least partial bonding including thermally activated bonds between a first polyolefin material produced with a catalyst including at least one metallocene catalyst and having a melting point in the range 130-170 C. and a second material having a melting point which is at least 10 C. higher than the melting point of the first material, the weight of the first material in the non-woven structure being at least 3% of the weight of the nonwoven structure.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING TEXTILE PRODUCTS, PRODUCTS OBTAINABLE THEREFROM AND METHOD TO RECLAIM THE PRODUCTS
The present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a laminated textile product comprising providing a first intermediate product comprising a primary backing having a front surface and a back surface, and yarns stitched into the primary backing, the yarns extending from the front surface of the backing material, feeding the intermediate product along a body having a heated surface, the back surface being pressed against the said heated surface, to at least partly melt the yarns present in the intermediate product to bond the yarns to the backing, wherein the part of the back surface that is pressed against the heated surface has a relative speed with respect to the heated surface, so as to provide a second intermediate product having a calendered back surface, providing a dimensionally stable carrier sheet or secondary backing, and connecting the second intermediate product to the carrier sheet by providing a hot melt adhesive between the calendered surface and the sheet, and pressing the sheet to the second intermediate product to form the textile product.
Carpet coating compositions
The invention relates to the use of mixtures that contain an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate polymer and an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer for carpet coating compositions, and corresponding carpet coating compositions, as well as carpets which are coated with such carpet coating compositions.
Coated airbag, method for making the same, and airbag module comprising the coated airbag
An airbag comprises a textile substrate and a coating on at least a portion of the surface of the textile substrate. The coating comprises a polyurethane polymer and a phosphorous compound. The phosphorous compound can be selected from the group consisting of esters of phosphoric acid, esters of phosphonic acid, esters of phosphinic acid, and mixtures thereof. An airbag module comprises the above-described airbag, a gas generator, and a cover at least partially enclosing the airbag and gas generator.
NYLON FLOORCOVERINGS EMPLOYING VAT DYESTUFFS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
In one aspect, floor coverings are described herein comprising nylon fibers dyed with at least one vat dyestuff, the dyed nylon fibers exhibiting enhancements to lightfastness, color fastness, wet fastness and/or resistance to household bleach.
The at least partial bonding including thermally activated bonds between a first polyolefin material produced with a catalyst including at least one metallocene catalyst and having a melting point in the range 130-170? C. and a second material having a melting point which is at least 10? C. higher than the melting point of the first material, the weight of the first material in the non-woven structure being at least 3% of the weight of the nonwoven structure.
