A polypropylene fabric woven from a plurality of polypropylene fibers comprises a first surface and a second surface, at least one of the first surface and the second surface is treated with electro-optical treatment.
Water-redispersible polymer powders for carpet coating compositions
The use of redispersible polymer powders containing no organic emulsifier for a binder in the production of carpeting is surprisingly superior to use of the same polymers in the form of an aqueous dispersion. Tuft removal force in particular, is improved. The compositions contain no thickener, or a reduced level of thickener.

The present disclosure provides a pre-coated bottom cover combination machine for tile carpet comprising a carpet surface pre-coated processing line and a back bottom cover processing line. The back bottom cover processing line includes drive device for driving the carpet belt to move, black material feeding and automatic control device, scraper, white material feeding and automatic control device, composite device of bottom back and carpet surface, bottom back plasticizing and heating line, embossing device, carpet body water-cooled plate, carpet body water-cooled roller, carpet storage rack, deviation correction device, dicing machine, inspection table. The present invention can meet the requirements of reducing the manufacturing cost of tile carpets.
Durable natural fabric products
A natural fabric or textile product is coated and protected with a waterproofing composition comprising a crosslinking polyvinyl acetate (XPVAc or x-PVAc) emulsion polymer or adhesive applied and cured as a first coating layer or a primer and a coating layer of acrylic, alkyd, asphalt, emulsion polymer isocyanate, epoxy, lacquer, latex, polyurethane, urethane, or vinyl ester coated over the cured crosslinking polyvinyl acetate as a second coating layer or a topcoat. The natural fabric product is fabricated by weaving, knitting or felting the fibers, yarns or threads of vegetable or plant fibers from cotton, sisal, kenaf, hemp, jute, flax, reed, sugarcane, ramie, henequen, raffia, nettle, milkweeds, palm, coir, grass, Spanish moss, New Zealand flax, kapok, sugarcane, bamboo, or wood, or those of the protein fibers from wool, silk, spider threads, sea silk, or the combination thereof.
BINDER FOR CARPET COATING COMPOSITIONS
The object of the invention is the use of an aqueous dispersion of a vinylacetate-ethylene-copolymer and of at least one polyethylene imine as a binder in a carpet coating composition for the production of carpets.
NOVEL AQUEOUS POLYMER DISPERSION COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF ADHERING TEXTILE MATERIALS
The invention comprises a method. The method comprises applying a composition to a tufted primary backing material, wherein the primary backing material has a first primary surface and a second primary surface, wherein tufts extend outwardly from the first primary surface and loop backs are formed on the second primary surface, and wherein the composition is applied to the loop backs and second primary surface of the tufted primary backing material. The composition comprises an aqueous polymer dispersion of colloidal thermosetting polymer particles or colloidal thermoplastic polymer particles and second thermoplastic polymer particles dispersed in the water, wherein the second thermoplastic polymer particles have an average particle size of approximately 200 micron to approximately 1,000 microns. The method further comprises heating the tufted primary backing material and aqueous polymer dispersion to remove water therefrom. A novel adhesive composition is also disclosed.
Coated scrim reinforced thermoplastic olefin roofing membrane
A scrim reinforced roofing membrane comprising a coated scrim layer having a first side and a second side and a first TPO layer on the first side of the coated scrim layer. The coated scrim layer contains a scrim fabric which contains a plurality of warp yarns in a first direction and a plurality of weft yarns in a second direction approximately perpendicular to the first direction. The warp yarns cross the weft yarns at crossing points. The scrim fabric has a polyvinyl acetate coating which is located along the length of the warp yarns and the weft yarns and between the warp and weft yarns at the crossing points. The coated scrim is at least partially embedded in the first TPO layer.
FIBER MAT, METHOD OF MAKING THE FIBER MAT, AND BITUMINOUS ROOFING PRODUCT
A fiber mat includes a unitary assembly of fibers including at least a first set of fibers and at least a first binder comprising an organic resin, wherein the unitary assembly of fibers includes a minority portion and a majority portion different than the minority portion, wherein the fiber mat provides at least a 5% increase in tear when placed in a bituminous roofing product compared to an equivalent bituminous roofing product made with a fiber mat of equivalent weight containing a homogenous mat structure.
CARPET COATING COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to the use of mixtures that contain an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate polymer and an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer for carpet coating compositions, and corresponding carpet coating compositions, as well as carpets which are coated with such carpet coating compositions.
Carpet coating compositions of improved stability formed from vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersions
Disclosed are aqueous carpet-coating compositions suitable for use as binders or adhesives in carpet products. Such compositions, prior to being applied to carpet substrates and cured, comprise: A) a selected type of vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE) copolymer dispersion which has been stabilized with emulsifiers and a cellulose ether-based protective colloid, and B) at least one carbon black based filler in the form of a dispersion/slurry with a solids content between 20 and 70%. These coating compositions exhibit especially desirable initial viscosity and viscosity stability characteristics. Carpet products which utilize such coating compositions to provide binder and/or adhesive layer within the carpet are also disclosed. Such carpet products can have desirable odor-controlling and odor-absorbing properties.
