Fabric coated with functional silicone rubber
A fabric coated with functional silicone rubber, the fabric being configured such that a coating layer may not be easily separated from the fabric and may be used to form a power line or a signal line. The fabric includes: a woven fabric made by weaving and including uniform pores therein; and a coating layer formed by coating a surface of the woven fabric with liquid silicone rubber in which electrically conductive particles larger than the pores of the woven fabric are dispersed and mixed, wherein the liquid silicone rubber permeates into the pores of the woven fabric by the weight thereof and is cured such that the silicone rubber is anchored to the woven fabric, and an electrically conductive layer having electrical conductivity is formed as the electrically conductive particles are caught on the surface of the woven fabric and increase in density at the surface of the woven fabric.
Silicone-coated fabric
This invention provides a silicone-coated fabric for airbags in which creases can be easily formed by applying heat and pressure, that can be stored compactly, and that exhibits minimal damage on the coated layer when deployed. More specifically, the invention provides a silicone-coated fabric comprising a silicone-based resin coated on one surface of a synthetic fiber woven fabric, and a thermoplastic resin adhering to the silicone-based resin-coated surface, wherein the adhesive strength between the silicone-based resin-coated surfaces is 0.01 to 10 N/cm.
Machine for manufacturing artificial turf
A machine for manufacturing artificial turf includes a fiber inserter configured to incorporate artificial turf fiber into an artificial turf backing to form the artificial turf. The artificial turf includes an underside and an artificial turf surface. The machine further includes a coater configured to coat the underside with a colloidal latex coating. The colloidal latex coating has an exposed surface. The machine further includes an applicator configured to wett an exposed surface of the colloidal latex coating with an anti-blistering agent. The machine further includes a heater configured to heat the underside to cure the colloidal latex coating into a solid latex coating.
Anti-blistering agent for tufted surface coverings
A method of manufacturing a tufted surface covering includes incorporating tuft fiber into a backing to form the tufted surface covering, wherein the tufted surface covering includes an underside and a pile surface; coating the underside with a colloidal latex coating, wherein the colloidal latex coating has an exposed surface; wetting the exposed surface with an anti-blistering agent; and heating at least the underside to cure the colloidal latex coating into a solid latex coating.
Light-blocking high opacity articles
A foamed, opacifying element has a porous substrate composed of woven yarn strands composed of a thermoplastic polymer-coated multifilament core. It has a dry foamed composition on an opposing surface of the substrate, which includes: (a) 0.1-40 weight % of porous particles; (b) 10-80 weight %; (c) 0.2-50 weight % of one or more additives selected from the group consisting of dispersants, plasticizers, flame retardants, optical brighteners, thickeners, biocides, fungicides, tinting colorants, metal flakes, and inert inorganic or organic fillers; (d) less than 5 weight % of water; and (e) at least 0.002 weight % of an opacifying colorant different from all of the one or more additives of (c), which opacifying colorant absorbs electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of 380-800 nm. The elements have a light-blocking value (LBV) of at least 4 and can have a bending stiffness that is greater than 0.15 milliNewtons-meter.
SILICONE MEMBRANES

Silicone composition and process useful for improving the crease resistance and abrasion resistance of airbags, intended for protecting a vehicle occupant
The general field of the invention is that of silicone coating compositions, in particular those of two-component or multi-component type, that can be crosslinked by polyaddition or hydrosilylation reactions to produce a support coated by a silicone elastomer as a thin layer. These silicone compositions, when they are crosslinked, are suitable, inter alia, as coatings, for example for the protection or mechanical reinforcement of various textile substrates such as for example fibrous, woven, knitted or nonwoven supports. The targeted objective is to provide a silicone elastomer coating composition that can be crosslinked by polyaddition reactions and that is useful in particular for applications in the field of inflatable safety bags for vehicles, or airbags, having, after crosslinking, optimum properties in terms of adhesion, thinness, lightness and crease and abrasion resistance, but also good mechanical properties. This silicone coating composition should also be easy to use and to apply.
Method of preparing polyester fabric for airbag
A method of preparing a polyester fabric for an airbag is provided, and particularly, a method of preparing a fabric for an airbag by inserting a predetermined weave into a selvage to provide the whole fabric with uniform tension upon weaving a high-density fabric for an airbag using a polyester yarn is provided.
SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A synthetic leather comprising a substrate, a skin layer that is disposed on one main surface of the substrate, and an anti-stain layer that is disposed to cover the skin layer. The anti-stain layer contains a base resin that comprises silicon and a unit derived from a compound that has a urethane bond. In the anti-stain layer, a fluorine atom/silicon atom atomic ratio, which is a proportion of a fluorine atom to the silicon atom, is 0.01 or less. A first color difference E1* between before and after a stain adhesion test performed on the synthetic leather rubbed under a specific condition is 5 or less.
