A laminated body formed by laminating a fiber substrate composed of a plurality of fibers and a polymer layer formed from a polymer latex. The polymer layer covers the fiber substrate in a state in which a portion of the polymer layer has permeated among the fibers. A ratio (t.sub.1/d) of a thickness t.sub.1 of the portion of the polymer layer that has permeated among the fibers (from a top surface of the fiber substrate) to a substrate layer average thickness d is 0.1 to 0.95. A thickness t.sub.2 of the portion of the polymer layer covering the top surface of the fiber substrate (from the top surface of the fiber substrate) is 80 m or more.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A KNITTED FABRIC

A method for producing a knitted fabric part which is knitted from at least one thread and which in one or a plurality of regions on the knitted fabric external side and/or the knitted fabric internal side is equipped with a coating, wherein, for configuring the coating, a material comprising free-flowing particles is applied in the region to the knitted fabric, said material subsequently being melted or fused by heating, whereupon the material is cooled while forming the coating.

Glove with dry-adhesive and dry-non-adhesive micro-wedges

A glove with gecko-inspired dry adhesives is provided to greatly reduce the required grasp force on heavy, smooth items. The orientation of the gecko adhesives is designed to increase shear forces between the glove and the object when lifting and manipulating. The invention additionally equips the non-gripping surfaces of the glove (e.g. back and sides) with a non-adhesive microstructure that prevents the glove from accidently adhering to surfaces during unintentional contact, even when touching otherwise sticky materials such as adhesive-coated automotive panels.

WATERBORNE POLYURETHANE DISPERSIONS FOR PREPARING POLYURETHANE FOAM FOR SYNTHETIC LEATHER AND SYNTHETIC LEATHER ARTICLES PREPARED WITH THE SAME
20240247094 · 2024-07-25 ·

A waterborne polyurethane dispersion for the polyurethane foam of synthetic leather application, derived from (1) a prepolymer derived from the reaction of reactants comprising at least one aromatic isocyanate compound, an ethylene oxide-capped polyether triol, at least one polyether diol, and at least one polyester diol; (2) water; and (3) surfactant, is disclosed. The waterborne polyurethane dispersion can be used to prepare a synthetic leather product having superior wrinkle resistance, hand-feeling and peel strength. A synthetic leather article prepared with said waterborne polyurethane dispersion is also disclosed.

MULTI-LAYERED COATED FABRIC FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

A coating fabric and method of manufacturing the same are provided. A coated fabric includes a base coating layer. The base coating layer defines a smooth coating to resist liquid penetration to the fabric. The coated fabric also includes a middle foam coating layer that is deposited on at least a portion of the base coating layer. The middle foam layer defines a middle layer foam density and is configured to absorb at least a portion of liquid. The coated fabric further includes an outer foam coating layer that is deposited on at least a portion of the middle foam coating later. The outer foam layer defines an outer layer foam density and is configured with holes to allow liquid to penetrate to the middle foam layer. The middle layer foam density is less than the outer layer foam density. A corresponding method of manufacturing is also provided.

FULLY COATED GLOVE HAVING MOISTURE WICKING PROPERTY

A fully coated glove having a moisture wicking property is provided, which includes a palm body, a moisture wicking layer, and a shielding layer. Each of the moisture wicking layer and the shielding layer is prepared by using a raw material including waterborne polyurethane or solvent-based polyurethane. The moisture wicking layer is a foam layer with a thickness of 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm; the shielding layer is a non-foam layer with a thickness of 0.03 mm to 0.2 mm. The preparation process includes following steps: molding of the palm body; preparing the moisture wicking layer that is foamed by coating; water washing; drying; preparing the shielding layer that is not foamed by coating; drying; demolding of the finished product; and packaging. Polyurethane is used as the raw material of the coating in the glove provided by the present disclosure, so as to associatedly combine the foam layer and non-foam layer.
