THERAPEUTIC, FITNESS, AND SPORTS ENHANCEMENT APPARATUS
A device for therapeutic, fitness and sports enhancement can include an elongated apparatus body. The apparatus body can include three or more rounded and/or sharp edges connected by curvilinear surfaces between each of the edges about a longitudinal axis of the apparatus body. The device may or may not also include multiple projections along the outer surface of the apparatus body that are configured to be applied to the user of the device.
FOOTWEAR HAVING MULTIPLE MASSAGE DEVICES AND METHOD
The footwear includes a sole, a plurality of massage units, and a controller. The sole provides a support to the underside of a user's foot when the user is wearing the footwear. The massage units each include a channel, a plunger, a spring, and an actuator. The plunger is disposed within the channel and may slide within it linearly. The plunger has a shaft which terminates in an applicator, the applicator being round and configured to provide pressure to the user's foot. The spring is configured to maintain the plunger within a contact-position when at rest. This contact-position occurs when the plunger is maximally distal to the spring. The actuator is able to draw the plunger against the spring and release the plunger in repetition when energized, enacting a massaging action. The controller is able to selectively engage the actuators.
Massaging device
Disclosed herein is a massage device configured to provide a squeezing pressure. The massage device may include an elastically extensible and bendable connector element and at least two rolling massage elements. A portion of the elastically extensible and bendable connector element and the at least two rolling massage elements form a massaging zone configured to receive one or more body parts. The body parts may include feet, forearms, and the like. Accordingly, the massage device may provide relief for specific conditions such as plantar fasciitis and carpel tunnel syndrome.
FOOT SUPPORT STRUCTURE
Proposed is a foot support structure that allows the Yongcheon acupoint of a user to be effectively stimulated while the user is sitting so that the user can breathe identically or similarly to when the user is standing, the foot support structure including a base plate placed under the foot and supporting the foot, a big toe support portion having a plate shape and protruding from the base plate at a position where the big toe is placed, a second and third toe support portion having a plate shape and protruding from the base plate at a position where the second toe and the third toe are placed, a heel support portion having a plate shape and protruding from the base plate at a position where the heel is placed, and a Yongcheon acupoint stimulator protruding from the base plate at a position corresponding to the Yongcheon acupoint.
Gradient cushioning gain for footwear sole arrangement
A sole arrangement for an article of footwear with a gradient depth value is provided. In one aspect of the disclosure, the sole arrangement extending from an end of a posterior area of the sole arrangement to an end of an anterior area of the sole arrangement, wherein the posterior area of the sole arrangement being formed under a heel area and the anterior area of the sole arrangement being formed under a forefoot area of a foot. The sole arrangement having an upper facing surface and a ground engaging surface, wherein the upper facing surface being on an opposite side of the sole arrangement than the ground engaging surface. The sole arrangement having a maximum posterior depth value. The sole arrangement having a maximum anterior depth value. The maximum posterior depth value may be smaller than the maximum anterior depth value by a first margin.
SYSTEM FOR AT LEAST SUPPORTING A TREATMENT OF A PERSON AND USE OF SUCH A SYSTEM
A system for supporting a treatment of a person includes a base platform for receiving the person, where the base platform includes at least one upper surface which defines a substantially flat reference plane, and at least one fill element, where the at least one fill element is displaceable between a first position and a second position. In the second position an upper surface of the at least one fill element extends above the reference plane with an adjustable distance, such that said at least one fill element fills a space between the reference plane and a lower side of a or each foot of the person. A use of such a system.
Acoustic shock wave therapeutic methods to prevent or treat opioid addiction
The method of treating a patient addicted to pain medication or opioids has the step administering acoustic shock waves or pressure pulses to the patient. A second embodiment includes a treatment to reduce a patient's pain caused by a medical condition and/or medical procedure to reduce or eliminate the taking of addictive pain medication. The treatment has the step of administering acoustic shock waves or pressure pulses directed to an area near a source of the pain or to one or more reflexology zones or to one or more reflexology zones and to an area near the source of the pain or both to treat the medical condition or prior to the medical procedure or during the medical procedure or after the medical procedure or any combination thereof.
Interactive exercise system
A system for providing exercise incentives and/or providing massage is disclosed herein. The system includes a pair of shoes to be worn by a user during exercise; a software application downloadable to an electronic device and configured to wirelessly communicate with the pair of shoes; and a server in communication with the software application. In some embodiments, the pair of shoes includes massage pads and cooling/warming elements. The system is primarily useful for providing a monetary incentive to exercise and secondarily useful for providing relief to a user's feet via massage.
Heel clamp for footwear sole arrangement
A heel clamp, or posterior component, for an article of footwear is provided. The heel clamp may comprise a posterior component height value measuring a height value from a lowest point under the heel of the foot on an upper facing surface to a top of the posterior component. A lateral component and a medial component of the heel clamp may include a predetermined height value or an extension height value. The lateral component may be extending into or through an area in-between a lateral malleolus bone of the foot and an Achilles tendon of the foot, the medial component may be extending into or through an area in-between a medial malleolus bone of the foot and the Achilles tendon of the foot, and the intermediate component may be extending to an area of an end of a top of a calcaneus bone of the foot.
