WATER-SOLUBLE FILM BASED DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR COLORANTS, GLITTER, AND OTHER ARTISTIC EFFECTS

Hydrographic sheets and dip and decorator activity-kits are provided. The dip and decorator activity-kits comprise one or more hydrographic sheet formed of a water-soluble film, having decoration art formed from a non-aqueous ink or dye disposed on at least one side of the sheet, and an instruction for imparting an artistic effect to the article using the one or more hydrographic sheets. The hydrographic sheet leaves floating decoration art upon dissolution in water and wherein the floating decoration art comprises a softened and at least partially solubilized water-soluble film with decoration art for adhering to an article.

A process and composition is provided for preparing substrates with both visual and thermal camouflage. The substrate is metallized through a deposition process and polished or calendered to smooth the metal layer and lower the infrared emissivity of the layer deposited onto the substrate. The metallized substrate is then visually decorated by a tarnish and/or dying process that minimally impacts the infrared emissivity of the metallized substrate.

Disperse Dye Color Paste for Waterless Dyeing, and Preparation Method and Application Thereof

The invention provides a disperse dye color paste for waterless dyeing, which comprises, by weight, 10%-40% of disperse dye filter cakes, 2%-35% of a dispersant, 5%-20% of a dyeing auxiliary, 0.1-0.5% of a surfactant, and 20%-88% of a solvent. The disperse dye color paste for waterless dyeing of the invention has a small particle size; and after waterless dyeing, a textile does not contain cleavable carcinogenic aromatic amine azo dyes, allergenic dyes, forbidden aromatic amine or bioactive substances. The disperse dye color paste for waterless dyeing of the invention can be stably stored for 6-12 months which is beneficial to the transportation of dyes and the production management of dyeing factories. Moreover, a dyeing effect featuring a high fixation rate is realized after the disperse dye color paste for waterless dyeing is applied to textiles.

Water-free fabric dyeing process and dye compositions

A non-aqueous fabric dyeing method using a non-aqueous dyeing composition is described. The dyeing composition is a fluid at room temperature; contains no more than 5% water, no more than 5% VOCs and no more than 2.5% by weight vinyl monomers. The dye composition includes an organic dye that is solid at temperatures up to 130° C. and which sublimes or boils at 130 to 220° C., and further includes a carrier that is a liquid in the temperature range of 130 to 220° C.

A coloring product for dyeing or refreshing dyes in textile materials is disclosed. The coloring product includes a flat carrier material, at least one coating applied to the carrier material, and at least one dye in the coating. The at least one dye is present in a quantity ranging from 45% by weight 98% by weight in relation to the overall quantity of the coating. The flat carrier material is a nonwoven. The coloring product may be included in a washing machine that has textile materials in an aqueous solution at a temperature of at least 20° C. over a period of at least 10 minutes.

WATERLESS FIBER DYEING METHOD USING MIXED FLUID MEDIUM
20210324577 · 2021-10-21 ·

The present invention relates to a waterless fiber dyeing method using a mixed fluid medium, in which supercritical carbon dioxide fluid medium is mixed with steam to form a mixed fluid medium, so that the waterless fiber dyeing effect to natural fibers is improved. The method of the invention can effectively modify the hydrophobic supercritical carbon dioxide fluid medium and improve the polarity thereof, thereby increasing the solubility of polar dye under the dyeing condition and simultaneously expanding the fiber. Thus, the present invention significantly improves the dyeability and dyeing behavior of the hydrophilic fibers in supercritical carbon dioxide fluids. The invention has the advantages of simple process, convenient operation and low energy consumption, and avoids consuming a large amount of water resources and discharging pollutants in the traditional process, and has the characteristics of environmentally friendly and high efficiency.
