A percussive therapy device includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and at least one of an angular position sensor configured to obtain angular position data of the percussive therapy device and a linear position sensor configured to obtain linear position data of the percussive therapy device. An attachment module is configured to be operably connected with a percussive therapy device and includes a housing, a wireless connection module, and at least one sensor configured to obtain biometric data of the user or obtain information regarding operation of the percussive therapy device.

Chest compression system and method

A system and method for determining CPR induced chest compression depth using two sensors while accounting for different orientations of the two sensors. The system may include a first motion sensor operable to generate motion signals corresponding to motion in a first coordinate frame defined by a first set of axes and a second motion sensor operable to generate motion signals corresponding to motion in a second coordinate frame defined by a second set of axes and a control system operable to receive the motion signals from the first motion sensor and the second motion sensor, rotate the motion signals from the first motion sensor into the second coordinate frame to obtain rotated motion signals corresponding to the motion signals from the first motion sensor, and combine the rotated motion signals with the motion signals from the second motion sensor to generate an output indicative of said displacement.

Multi-use mobility aid device

A mobility aid device constructed using internal couplings and capable of functioning as a rollator walker and transfer/transport chair through a convertible seat to backrest design. As a rollator walker, the device features a reverse wrap-around/posterior frame and is capable of detecting falls while providing continual data regarding its use through monitoring components built into the frame and which are visualized on a corresponding mobile application. The data is leveraged for therapeutic purposes through analysis leading to insights about gait patterns, energy levels, and device reliance and access to the data by physical therapists who can engage with the mobile application to assign exercises, monitor patient metrics, and engage with patients remotely.

A method for protecting healthcare information associated with an individual may include receiving at least a first electronic medical record associated with the individual and generating a patient identifier associated with the individual. The method may also include generating, using the patient identifier and at least a portion of the first electronic medical record, at least one protected electronic medical record corresponding to the first electronic medical record. The patient identifier may be associated with at least one characteristic of the individual. The method may also include providing, at least at a healthcare provider interface, at least one of the patient identifier and at least a portion of the at least one protected electronic medical record.

PERCUSSIVE THERAPY DEVICE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE MODULES

A percussive therapy device includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. A massage attachment is removably received on a distal end of the push rod assembly at a first location. The percussive therapy device also includes an attachment module associated with the housing of the percussive therapy device at a second location. The second location is different than the first location. The attachment module is configured to provide an active effect.

Systems and Methods for Using Artificial Intelligence to Implement a Cardio Protocol via a Relay-Based System

A computer-implemented method including receiving, at a computing device, a first treatment plan designed to treat a cardiovascular health issue of a user. The first treatment plan comprises at least two exercise sessions that, based on the cardiovascular health issue, enable the user to perform an exercise at different exertion levels. While the user uses a treatment apparatus to perform the first treatment plan for the user, the computing device receives cardiovascular data from one or more sensors configured to measure the cardiovascular data associated with the user, and transmits the cardiovascular data. Wherein a machine learning model is used to generate a second treatment plan. The second treatment plan modifies at least one exertion level, and the modification is based on a standardized measure comprising perceived exertion, the cardiovascular data, and the cardiovascular health issue of the user. The method includes receiving the second treatment plan.

Walking assist device

A walking assist device has a frame, fixed handles, rails provided with movable handles, front wheels, rear wheels and that serve as drive wheels, drive units, a battery, and a drive control unit, and travels forward or rearward together with a user that walks while grasping the fixed handles or the movable handles. The walking assist device has an operation mode switching unit that switches between a training mode, in which a load is applied to operation of the body of the user performed as the user walks, and an assist mode in which a load on operation of the body of the user performed as the user walks is alleviated.

Motorized recumbent therapeutic and exercise device

A device for therapy or exercise includes a frame, a base at least partially supporting and extending from the frame, a user support moveably coupled to the base and positioned adjacent the frame, a foot crank system coupled to the frame, a hand crank system coupled to the frame, and a motor coupled to at least one of the foot crank system and the hand crank system. The motor selectively powers the foot crank system and the hand crank system and is operable in an active mode and a passive mode.

THERMAL AND VIBROTACTILE HAPTIC ACTUATORS

Embodiments related to a haptic actuator for transmitting heat and/or mechanical vibrations to an adjacent surface are disclosed. The haptic actuator may include a heating membrane, one or more supports, and a body. The one or more supports may extend between the body and the heating membrane to physically separate the heating membrane from the body.
