Textile printing with inkjet inks
A printing method includes selecting an inkjet ink including a pigment, and selecting an active agent, including an electromagnetic radiation-absorbing active material, and an aqueous or non-aqueous vehicle. The method further includes inkjet printing the inkjet ink and the active agent directly onto a textile fabric. The textile fabric having the ink and active agent thereon is exposed to electromagnetic radiation.
FLUID SET
A fluid set includes a pre-treatment composition, a fixer composition, and an inkjet ink. The pre-treatment composition includes a wax emulsion or a fluorinated polymer emulsion. The fixer composition includes a cationic polymer and a fixer vehicle. The inkjet ink includes a white pigment, a polymeric binder, and an ink vehicle.
PRINTING SETS
Described herein is a printing set comprising a curable transparent pre-treatment composition and a fixer composition. The curable transparent pre-treatment composition comprises a curable polyurethane, wherein the curable polyurethane comprises a copolymer of a polyisocyanate; a polyol comprising at least one reactive group selected from an acrylate group, a methacrylate group, an acrylamide group, a methacrylamide group, a styrene, an allyl group and a combination thereof; and a chain-terminating compound comprising a monoalcohol or a monoamine. The fixer composition comprises a salt of a cation and an anion. Also described herein is a method of printing on a textile and a printed textile substrate.
FABRIC TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS
A fabric treatment composition for preparing a fabric substrate for printing is described. The fabric treatment composition comprises at least one fibre-bonding agent, at least one cross-linking agent and a liquid carrier. A method for printing a fabric substrate is also described. The method comprises applying, to at least one area of a fabric substrate, a fabric treatment composition to form a coating, wherein the fabric treatment composition comprises at least one fibre-bonding agent, at least one cross-linking agent and a carrier liquid; and printing at least one ink composition over the coating to form a printed fabric substrate. A printable fabric medium is also described comprising: a fabric substrate; and a coating formed on at least one side of at least one area of the substrate, wherein the coating comprises or is formed of a composition comprising at least one fibre-bonding agent and at least one cross-linking agent.
FABRIC COATING COMPOSITION
A fabric coating composition, comprising from 2 to 50 dry parts of a crosslinking polymer, from 5 to 60 dry parts of a polymeric binder; from 2 to 30 dry parts of pigment fixation agents, parts are based on total dry content of the coating composition; a pH control agent in an amount adjusted to have a pH above 7; and an aqueous liquid vehicle is described. The coating composition is used to be applied to a fabric print medium. Also described herein are a coated fabric printable medium, a method for forming the coated fabric printable medium and a method of textile printing that includes ejecting an ink composition onto the coated fabric print medium described herein.
Dye printing method
A dye printing method and an ink capable of performing printing on more types of media than in the related art are shown. A dye printing method using ink 10 containing a solvent 11, and particles 12 of a thermoplastic resin dispersed in the solvent 11 and containing a dye 13 is characterized by including a printing process of performing a printing on a medium 20 with the ink 10, a particle fixing process of fixing the particles 12 to the medium 20 by drying the solvent 11 of the ink 10 ejected to the medium 20 by the printing process, and a resin fixing process of fixing the thermoplastic resin to the medium 20 by heating the particles 12 fixed to the medium 20 by the particle fixing process, at least at a glass-transition temperature or higher.

Method for producing printed textile item
A method for producing a printed textile item is disclosed, the method including applying a pretreatment liquid containing a coagulant, water and a surfactant to a fabric, and, after the application of the pretreatment liquid, applying a white ink containing a white pigment and water to the fabric by an inkjet method, wherein a surface tension of the white ink at 0.05 Hz is within a range from 33 to 39 mN/m, a surface tension of the white ink at 10 Hz is 40 mN/m or greater, a specific gravity of the pretreatment liquid is greater than a specific gravity of the white ink, and the application of the white ink is performed within 100 seconds from the application of the pretreatment liquid and by a wet-on-wet method.
Recording Method
A recording method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a recording method on a fabric, including an ink adhering step of adhering droplets of an ink composition containing a pigment and resin particles to the fabric; and a treatment solution adhering step of adhering droplets of a treatment solution containing a crosslinking agent to the fabric, in which a maximum weight per droplet of the droplet of the ink composition is 30 ng or less, a maximum weight per droplet of the droplet of the treatment solution is 30 ng or less, and a droplet weight of the treatment solution is equal to or less than a droplet weight of the ink composition.
Process of Dying Polymer Parts
Provided is a method of dyeing or otherwise surface treating a polymer part so as to provide a treated polymer part with a surface additive which has wash fastness with respect to alcohol solutions and therefore does not leach or transfer in response to contact with alcohol. The method includes preparing a surface treatment solution comprising a solvent and the surface additive; submerging a polymer part in the surface treatment solution for a set time period before in order to coat the surface of the part with the additive; air drying the part; vapor polishing the part by exposing an outer surface to vaporized hexafluoroisopropanol in order to bind the additive within the polymer; and finally washing the fixed coated part in a surfactant and water solution to produce a finished surface treated polymer part.
