COATING COMPOSITION AND PRINTABLE MEDIUM
A coating composition comprising water and polyurethane particles including cationic triphenyl-phosphonium salt functional groups. Also disclosed is a coated printable medium, with an image-side and a back-side, comprising a base substrate and the coating composition, such as described herein, that is applied over, at least, one side of the base substrate, forming an image-receiving layer. Also disclosed is the method for making such printable medium.

[Solution] A method for manufacturing synthetic leather having an outer surface layer on a base fabric, said method comprising the steps of: (i) coating a releasable base material with an outer surface layer composition containing a polyurethane resin and at least one dye selected from natural dyes and chemical dyes, and drying the coating to form an outer surface layer; and (ii) layering the outer surface layer over a base fabric.
COATING PROVIDING PANCHROMATIC SCATTERING
An article includes a substrate with a surface, and a coating disposed over the surface. The coating includes a binder material and a plurality of porous polymer particles having pores with a variety of pore sizes including a first set of pores having a first average pore size d1 in the range 0.3≤d1/λ1≤0.7, wherein λ1 is a wavelength in the range of 250-400 nm, a second set of pores having a second average pore size d2 in the range 0.3≤d2/λ2≤0.7, wherein λ2 is a wavelength in the range of 400-700 nm, and a third set of pores having a third average pore size d3 in the range 0.3≤d3/λ3≤0.7, wherein λ3 is a wavelength in the range of 700-3000 nm, wherein the porous polymer particles have a shell which is impermeable to a liquid.
Textile printing with inkjet inks
A printing method includes selecting an inkjet ink including a pigment, and selecting an active agent, including an electromagnetic radiation-absorbing active material, and an aqueous or non-aqueous vehicle. The method further includes inkjet printing the inkjet ink and the active agent directly onto a textile fabric. The textile fabric having the ink and active agent thereon is exposed to electromagnetic radiation.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL POLYURETHANE COATINGS
A multi-functional polyurethane coating composition can include water and polyurethane particles including a blend of polyurethane polymers with polyurethane backbones. The polyurethane particles can include multiple pendant groups independently attached to one or multiple polyurethane backbones within the blend of polyurethane polymers. The multiple pendant groups of the polyurethane particles include polyalkylene oxides, aliphatic phosphonium salts, and epoxides.
NATURAL DYEING METHOD USING FERMENTED PERSIMMON JUICE
The present disclosure relates to a natural dyeing method using fermented persimmon juice, and more particularly to a natural dyeing method using fermented persimmon juice, which prevents the discoloration of a naturally dyed fabric, is harmless to the human body, and exhibits excellent color development, excellent antibacterial activity, excellent deodorization, and excellent dyeing fastness such as friction fastness and light fastness.
FLUID SET
A fluid set includes a pre-treatment composition, a fixer composition, and an inkjet ink. The pre-treatment composition includes a wax emulsion or a fluorinated polymer emulsion. The fixer composition includes a cationic polymer and a fixer vehicle. The inkjet ink includes a white pigment, a polymeric binder, and an ink vehicle.
PIGMENT TRANSFER PAPER AND PROCESS FOR TRANSFER TO A TEXTILE SUBSTRATE
The invention is directed to a pigment transfer sheet (1) suitable for transferring an image to a textile substrate (2), said transfer sheet comprising a base layer and a transfer layer, said transfer layer being present in an amount of 5 to 20 g/m.sup.2, preferably in an amount of 8 to 15 g/m.sup.2 such as about 12 g/m.sup.2. A further aspect of the present invention is a process wherein this transfer sheet is used for transferring an image from a pigment transfer sheet to a textile substrate to provide a textile product carrying said image, said process comprising a transfer step comprising applying a surface pressure of at least 0.4 bar and heat to the superimposed contacted transfer sheet and textile substrate. Yet another aspect of the invention is a textile product (3) obtainable by the sheet and the process, which textile product has favorable properties like good hand and color fastnesses.
PHOSPHONIUM-CONTAINING POLYURETHANE COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure describes phosphonium-containing polyurethane compositions, coating compositions, and coated fabric media. In one example, a phosphonium-containing polyurethane composition can include an aqueous liquid vehicle and polyurethane particles. The polyurethane particles can include a polyurethane polymer devoid of end cap groups, the polyurethane polymer also including a polyurethane backbone having side chain groups along the polyurethane backbone. The side chain groups can collectively include aliphatic phosphonium salts and polyalkylene oxide groups.
MOISTURE-SENSED DEFORMING FABRIC AND MOISTURE-PROOF AND HEAT-INSULATING FABRIC
The present disclosure provides a moisture-sensed deforming fabric which includes a base cloth and a moisture-sensed shrinking ink. The moisture-sensed shrinking ink is jetted on one of surfaces of the base cloth by a digital printing process, and the moisture-sensed shrinking ink forms a hydrophilic region on the surface of the base cloth.
