Color modification of textile

The use of a peroxidase, a source of hydrogen peroxide and a mediator for providing a modified color in the textile is described.

Method for Decolorizing a Denim Fabric Using Ozone
20170121902 · 2017-05-04 ·

This invention relates to a method for decolorizing a dyed denim fabric through a dry ozone process to obtain an aesthetically pleasing decolorized look or fashionably faded look in the denim fabric. The method comprises three dry ozone treatment processes used alone or in combination thereof. The first dry ozone treatment process includes wetting a denim textile product with water and oxidizing it with ozone. The second dry ozone treatment process includes spraying water to desired areas of the textile product and oxidizing it with ozone. The third dry ozone treatment process includes loading the denim textile product and wetted cotton fabric scraps into a drum, and oxidizing them with ozone.

A method for localized or diffused decolorization of colored fabrics and garments by applying an accelerating substance comprising quaternary ammonium salts and subsequently treating with ozone.

OZONE PROCESS FOR COLOR REMOVAL
20170016175 · 2017-01-19 ·

Embodiments relate generally to methods and systems for bleaching textiles using ozone gas that incorporates a color removal step. In one example, there is provided a hybrid machine that incorporates certain features of a washer, but that also includes an integrated blower for gas distribution inside the machine. There is also provided an ozone dosing control system that allows for maintenance of a constant concentration of ozone in the machine. In one embodiment, the ozone output measured in grams/hour at this constant concentration in conjunction with the weight of product measured being treated may be referred to as the bleaching factor. There is further provided a wastewater dye removal step, in which ozone is used to clean the water and remove dyes and other colors that may be deposited via denim or other garments.

Method for decolorizing polyester fabric and polyester fabric

A method for decolorizing polyester fabric and a polyester fabric are provided. The method for decolorizing polyester fabric includes providing a dye-attached polyester fabric. The dye-attached polyester fabric is immersed in a first solution, obtaining a treated polyester fabric. The treated polyester fabric is immersed in a second solution, to obtain a decolorized polyester fabric. The first solution includes water, a first swelling agent and a solubility promoter. The second solution includes water, a second swelling agent, and an auxiliary swelling agent.

Decolorization method of polyester fabric

A decolorization method of a polyester fabric includes: providing a polyester fabric, in which the polyester fabric is a dyed polyester fabric and the polyester fabric is adhered with a dye and has a first L value; providing a first decolorizing solution and a second decolorizing solution, in which the first decolorizing solution contains a reductant and the second decolorizing solution contains an oxidant; and performing a decolorization process which includes: using one of the first decolorizing solution and the second decolorizing solution to decolorize one portion of the dye and using another one of the first decolorizing solution and the second decolorizing solution to decolorize another portion of the dye, so that a color of the dye is removed and the polyester fabric is white in color and has a second L value that is greater than the first L value.

Disposal method for waste fabric containing polyester, nylon, and dye

A disposal method for waste fabric containing polyester, nylon, and dye includes the following steps: step (a): providing a waste fabric containing polyester, nylon, and dye; and step (b): performing a first-stage treatment including acid treatment on the waste fabric to obtain a first liquid material and a first solid material. The first-stage treatment includes acid treatment with an acid liquid mixed with an oxidant. The first solid material includes recycled polyester, and/or the first liquid material includes recycled nylon or degraded nylon.
