Provided herein is a method for decolorizing textile materials under hydrothermal conditions using dye adsorbent materials. The process is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, and the adsorbent materials can be repeatedly used. The textile materials are textile materials dyeable with disperse dyes. Further provided is a system for decolorizing textile materials. The decolorization system is designed to allow the adsorbent materials to react with the textile materials in a contact manner and a non-contact manner.
PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A DYED FABRIC USING ENZYME AGGREGATES
Provided is a process for the production of a dyed fabric using enzyme aggregates. In particular, provided is a process that comprises a step of providing a woven fabric that comprises a base layer and an additional layer which is located on at least one side of the fabric, wherein the yarns of the additional layer comprise fibers that are at least partially dyed, and a step of contacting the woven fabric with enzyme aggregates such as cross-linked enzyme aggregates (CLEAs), to remove at least part of the dye from at least the yarns of said additional layer. The disclosure also provides a fabric obtained with the process and garments including the fabric.

A method for dyeing, such as vat dyeing, or coating synthetic fibers, such as polyester fibers and/or polyamide fibers, or yarns or fabrics including these fibers can include providing a powdered dye or a powdered precursor dye (powdered leuko dye), or providing an aqueous dye formulation or an aqueous precursor dye formulation (an alkaline aqueous leuko dye formulation). An aqueous system including a lipase enzyme can be provided. The fibers/yarn/fabric can be pretreated with the aqueous system, and the pretreated fibers/yarn/fabric can be coated or dyed with the powdered dye or powdered precursor dye, or with the aqueous dye formulation or aqueous precursor dye formulation.

Method for decolorization of dyed polyester fiber
A method for decolorization of a dyed polyester fiber is provided. The method for decolorization of a dyed polyester fiber includes step of: providing an ether-alcohol solvent and a polyester fiber containing a dye; heating the ether-alcohol solvent up to a boiling point of the ether-alcohol solvent to continuingly generate a fresh gas; wherein a temperature of the fresh gas ranges from 90 C. to 200 C. which is between a glass transition temperature of the polyester fiber and a melting point of the polyester fiber; extracting the dye from the polyester fiber via the fresh gas and forming an extracting condensate containing the dye; reflowing the extracting condensate back into the ether-alcohol solvent; repeating the steps mentioned above to obtain a decolorized polyester fiber.
