A manufacturing method of decorated natural leather includes applying a base coat on crusted leather, inkjet printing a decorative image on the base coat using one or more pigmented inkjet inks, and applying one or more identification codes.

Creating three-dimensional apparel imagery in an apparel design system

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The user's preview may be based upon a two-dimensional image of a wear pattern in a laser input file and, from a set of two-dimensional images of a base garment, create a three-dimensional view of the base garment with the wear pattern.

PHOSPHONIUM-CONTAINING POLYURETHANE COMPOSITIONS

The present disclosure describes phosphonium-containing polyurethane compositions, coating compositions, and coated fabric media. In one example, a phosphonium-containing polyurethane composition can include an aqueous liquid vehicle and polyurethane particles. The polyurethane particles can include a polyurethane polymer devoid of end cap groups, the polyurethane polymer also including a polyurethane backbone having side chain groups along the polyurethane backbone. The side chain groups can collectively include aliphatic phosphonium salts and polyalkylene oxide groups.

Base templates for many finishes by laser

Laser finishing of apparel products allows an operating model that reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduce product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Improved aspects include design, development, planning, merchandising, selling, making, and delivering. The model uses fabric templates, each of which can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.

INKJET PRINTING

The present disclosure describes methods of printing, textile printing systems, and printers. In one example, a method of printing can include jetting an ink composition onto a substrate, the ink composition including an evaporable solvent, a colorant, and a non-curable polymeric binder. The ink composition on the substrate can be exposed to electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength from 350 nm to 420 nm. The exposure of the ink composition can begin from 0 ms to 600 ms after jetting the ink composition. The electromagnetic radiation can heat the ink composition to evaporate a portion of the evaporable solvent from the ink composition within 5 ms to 500 ms after the beginning of the exposure.

Apparel Collection Management with Product Modifications

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Users may collaborate while designing the apparel and designate what items should belong in specific collections.

Recommendations and Allocations in an Apparel Management System

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The system guides how the user is allocating apparel items in the system, including feedback on what the user may like to change.

DYEING PROCESS TO MINIMISE WASTE WATER PRODUCTION
20220018063 · 2022-01-20 ·

The present invention relates to a method of dyeing a textile, yarn or strand, in particular for use in footwear or apparel. The method may comprise the steps of: a) exposing at least a part of the textile, yarn or strand to a plasma field and a laser beam; and b) dyeing the textile, yarn or strand by digital dyeing, c) wherein the plasma field and the laser beam are at least partly overlapping to pre-treat the textile, yarn or strand prior to dyeing, and d) wherein the method is performed inside at least one of chamber(s). The present invention also relates to a textile, yarn or strand dyed according to the method of dyeing as well as to a system adapted for dyeing a textile, yarn or strand.

DEVICE AND PROCESS FOR THE LASER TREATMENT OF TROUSERS, COMPRISING TWO MANNEQUINS

A device for the laser treatment of trousers, including a laser beam generating equipment suitable for emitting the laser beam in any direction within an emission pyramid with an emission axis and two opening angles, and a work station with two mannequins, where each mannequin includes two legs. Each leg defines a longitudinal axis, and the two longitudinal axes of each mannequin define a mannequin plane. Each of the mannequins is oriented towards the equipment so that the emission axis strikes the mannequin plane at an angle of less than 90° and each mannequin has at least one of its legs within the pyramid.

Automatically Generating Apparel Collection Imagery

A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.
