INKJET PRINTING ON POLYESTER TEXTILES
20210189644 · 2021-06-24 ·

A method of pre-treating a polyester textile for inkjet printing with a water-based disperse dye ink composition, which method comprises treating at, least a part of, a surface of the polyester textile to increase its hydrophobicity.

Inkjet compositions and processes for stretchable substrates
11021627 · 2021-06-01 · ·

Novel inkjet ink compositions for forming an image in a form of an elastic film attached to a surface of a stretchable and/or flexible substrate and processes utilizing same for inkjet printing color images on various substrates such as colored and absorptive or impregnable stretchable materials, which are characterized by heightened efficiency in process time, ink and energy consumption, as well as products having durable, wash-fast and abrasion-fast images printed thereon by the process, are disclosed. The novel ink compositions comprise a first part, which contains a property-adjusting agent and a carrier, and a second part which contains an emulsified property-sensitive proto-elastomeric film-forming agent, a colorant and a carrier, such that the second part congeals upon contact with the property-adjusting agent. The second part is digitally applied to the substrate less than 1 second following the application of the first part to the substrate.

DYEING SYSTEM

A dyeing system includes a conveyance device, a reader, a dye fixing device, and a controller. The conveyance device conveys a conveyance unit including the resin body. The reader reads information relating to the conveyance unit. The dye fixing device heats the resin body in the conveyance unit conveyed by the conveyance device and fixes a dye adhering to a surface of the resin body, on the resin body. The controller acquires a parameter for a process executed to the resin body in the conveyance unit, based on the information read by the reader. The controller controls the dye fixing device based on the acquired parameter.

METHODS OF PRECONDITIONING FABRIC PRIOR TO INKJET PRINTING
20210032810 · 2021-02-04 ·

Provided herein are processes and methods of preconditioning a fabric prior to the application of graphics using, for example, inkjet printing. The preconditioning may comprise one or more of the following: (1) applying a preconditioning formulation to all or a portion of the textile; (2) heating or drying the textile at an elevated temperature; and/or (3) exposing the textile to an inert gas or vacuum in order to remove excess unreacted dye material and/or making the dyes immobile or non-diffusive. Further the print will have less or no staining after printing and curing the fabric.

Three-Dimensional Rendering Preview of Laser-Finished Garments

A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs in three dimensions before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. The tool can be accessed or executes via a Web browser.
