In certain embodiments, a vial adaptor comprises a housing configured to couple the adaptor with a vial, an access channel, a regulator channel, and a regulator assembly. The access channel is configured to facilitate withdrawal of fluid from the vial when the adaptor is coupled to the vial. The regulator channel is configured to facilitate a flow of a regulating fluid from the regulator assembly to compensate for changes in volume of a medical fluid in the vial. In some embodiments, the regulator assembly includes a flexible member configured to expand and contract in accordance with changes in the volume of the medical fluid in the vial. In some embodiments, the flexible member is substantially free to expand and contract. In some embodiments, the flexible member is not partly or completely located in a rigid enclosure.

Gas permeable sealing member for drug container and methods of assembly

Drug delivery devices, sealing members for containers housed within such drug delivery devices, and related methods of assembly are disclosed. The drug delivery device may include a housing, a container disposed in the housing and having an interior volume, a drug disposed in the interior volume, and a septum. The container may have an opening formed in an end surface and which communicates with the interior volume. The septum may include a proximal end inserted through the opening into the interior volume of the container. Additionally, the septum may include a distal end having a flange disposed outwardly of the proximal end and contacting the end surface of the container. At least an end portion of the flange may be made of a material that is permeable to a gaseous sterilizing agent.

MEDICAMENT DISPENSER

A dispenser comprises a cylinder in fluid communication with a one-way valve and an inlet in fluid communication with the cylinder. A lumen and a flow control member deliver fluid from a container to the inlet. A piston draws fluid through the flow control member and inlet into the cylinder upon movement of the piston in a first direction, and expels the fluid through the one-way valve upon movement of the piston in a second direction. The dispenser may be activated by either a “dual-action” mode of operation where an activating member is moved to retract the piston and provide the stored energy and then an-actuator is depressed to release the stored energy to the piston or a “single-action” mode of operation where an actuator is depressed in a single direction which concurrently retracts the piston, provides the stored energy and then releases the stored energy to piston.

INJECTION SITE WITH A MEMBRANE AND A LEAK-FREE REMOVABLE PROTECTION

A medical device for transferring a fluid from a pharmaceutical flexible container is disclosed. The medical device comprises a top part, a center part, a breakable zone between the top part and the center part and an insert part. The insert part comprises a third enclosure enclosing a second tunnel; and the top side of the third enclosure comprising a membrane, wherein a top surface of the membrane seals the third opening of the second enclosure.

MEDICAL RUBBER STOPPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEDICAL RUBBER STOPPER

The present invention aims to provide a medical rubber stopper that is excellent in chemical resistance and airtightness while having good productivity. The present invention relates to a medical rubber stopper including: a disk-shaped head portion with a flange region; and a cylindrical leg portion protruding from the lower surface of the head portion and having a smaller diameter than the head portion, the lower surface of the flange region and the leg portion being laminated with an inert film, the lower surface of the flange region and/or the outer periphery of the leg portion being provided with an annular groove through which the base rubber is exposed.
