Low cost and universal pill bottle regimen tracker with interchangeable labels
A pill bottle top includes a top and a base engaged with the top and having first ratchet teeth. An indicator slide has a finger pad formed with an inwardly protruding indicator nose and leaf spring arms coupled to the finger pad and disposed intermediate the top and base. The leaf spring arms are formed with second ratchet teeth configured to engage first ratchet teeth on the base. The finger pad can be pressed against the leaf spring arms to disengage the second ratchet teeth from the first ratchet teeth and allow the indicator slide to slide relative to the top with the indicator nose higher than and alignable with time indicia on the top. The finger pad can be released to allow the second ratchet teeth to engage first ratchet teeth under material bias of the leaf spring arms and prevent the indicator slide from sliding.
Binary connector for reconstitution
A connector is configured to connect a drug container with a solution container and permit contents of the drug container to be combined with the solution container. The connector has a connector body with a first coupling for fluid connection with the drug container. The first coupling defines a first fluid passage. The connector body also has a second coupling for fluid connection with the solution container. The second coupling defines a second fluid passage. A control valve has a movable valve body that defines a third fluid passage. The valve body is positionable relative to the connector body in a first position, in which the first fluid passage is sealed from the second fluid passage. The valve body is also positionable in a second position, in which the first fluid passage is connected in fluid communication with the second fluid passage by the third fluid passage.
Liquid medication dispenser
A liquid medication dispenser is provided having a dispenser housing with a housing interior. A plurality of syringe openings may be provided in the dispenser housing. A housing lid may be carried by the dispenser housing. A plurality of medication container seats may be provided in the housing lid. A plurality of medication dispensing openings may be provided in the plurality of medication container seats, respectively. A face plate may be carried by the dispenser housing. A plurality of syringe barrel cavities may be provided in the face plate and disposed in aligned or registering relationship with respect to the plurality of syringe openings, respectively. The syringe barrel cavities may have different sizes. A plurality of medication distribution assemblies may establish fluid communication between the plurality of medication dispensing openings, respectively, and the plurality of syringe openings, respectively.
CAP DESIGN FOR PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINER CLOSURE SYSTEMS
Caps for sealing assemblies for sealing glass containers and maintaining container closure integrity at −80° C. or less are disclosed. The caps include a cap skirt having an annular body and a crimp region. The crimp region is a crimpable metal. The annular body of the cap skirt has a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) greater than a CTE of a metal consisting of aluminum, a stiffness greater than or equal to 2 times a stiffness of the crimp region, or both. The greater CTE, stiffness, or both of the cap skirt increase the seal pressure and contact area between the stopper and glass container when cooled to −80° C. or less. The caps enable the sealing assemblies to maintain a helium leakage rate of the sealed glass container of less than or equal to 1.4×10.sup.−6 cm.sup.3/s at −80° C. or less.
Medication dose preparation and transfer system
Apparatus, systems, methods and articles are described to prepare and track medications and medication containers as they are prepared, administered to patients and, in some cases, disposed of. Information such as medication type, concentration, and volume are associated with medication containers during preparation and this information can later be consumed/utilized when administering the medication from a container to a patient. Disposing of any remaining medication can also be tracked.
Connector for a medical package containing a liquid
The invention relates to a connector for a medical package containing a liquid. The connector comprises a lower section which has a connecting piece for a container of said medical package and a passageway which is closed by a septum, as well as an upper section which is provided with a cap that covers the septum and can be broken off, said septum having, on a top side, a plurality of connections in the form of elevations, for a spike and/or for a needle.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR SECURITY AND TRACKING OF ITEMS
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for secure retrieval, tracking, administration, and/or return of contents such as oral medications. In some cases, a system for securing and tracking contents within a container is provided. The system may comprise an adapter configured to couple to an opening to the container, or to a cap of the container. The adapter can be configured to operate and switch between an unlocked state and a locked state. The system may also comprise a key device paired with the adapter. The key device can be configured to cause the adapter to switch from the locked state to the unlocked state upon activation of the key device, thereby permitting a user to open the container and access the contents from the container.
Medication compliance methods, devices, and systems
Provided herein are medication tracking and securement devices, systems, platforms, and methods configured to be used with or in place of commercial standard medicine bottles. The wireless tracking and communications elements of the present disclosure are configured to prevent medication theft, overdosing, medication loss, and prescription noncompliance.
PARTICULATE SILICA SILYLATE KIT FOR TREATMENT OF SURFACES FOR HYDROPHOBICITY CHARACTERISTICS
The present invention provides a method and kit for the treatment of surfaces, such as the skin surface of a user, to impart hydrophobic characteristics upon the surface. The treatment of surfaces to impart hydrophobicity protects equipment, personnel, and animals from the effects of aqueous solutions such as water, toxic slurries, concrete, acids and bases.
PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS INCLUDING SEALING ASSEMBLY WITH FILLER MATERIAL
A sealed pharmaceutical container including: a shoulder; a neck extending from the shoulder; a flange extending from the neck, the flange including: an underside surface extending from the neck; an outer surface extending from the underside surface, the outer surface defining an outer diameter of the flange; and an upper sealing surface extending between the outer surface and an inner surface defining an opening in the sealed pharmaceutical container, and a sealing assembly including: a stopper including a sealing portion extending over the upper sealing surface of the flange and covering the opening, and an insertion portion extending into the opening and in contact with the inner surface of the flange, the stopper having a first CTE; and a filler member encased within the stopper and having a second CTE, the second CTE being lower than the first CTE.
