Also described are compositions for a total parenteral nutrition regimen and methods for their use.
METHOD OF PRESERVING ORGANISMS AND APPARATUS THEREOF
A simple, natural method of preserving organisms includes sealing biological blood or organisms in a shell filled with resin, curing the resin, and solidifying the shell for a long time to form amber. The biological blood or organisms can be preserved for a long time. Scholars of later generations may research the integrity of the biological blood or organisms of the present days. Otherwise, the biological blood or organisms may be of no researching meaning and purposes due to pollution or oxidation and dehydration. The organisms of the present days may be reconstructed after 100 years by using technologies of that time. Thus, the organisms being extinct due to pollution can be reconstructed. Diversities of organisms on the earth can be maintained. Precious genes of the organisms of the present days can be preserved for thousands years. It contributes greatly to the study of evolution of organisms.
PRESSURIZATION-TYPE DRUG INJECTOR HAVING DRUG EXPOSURE PREVENTIVE FUNCTION
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a portable anticancer agent container for preventing exposure and infection to the human body caused by chemical solution leakage that arises during a removal operation of a coupling connector at the time of system cleaning using a cleaning solution. [Solution] Provided is a pressurization-type drug injector having a drug exposure preventive function and having a system cleaning function, the pressurization-type drug injector comprising: a reservoir that has a chemical solution filling opening and a chemical solution discharging opening; a pressurization deformation means that undergoes pressurization and deformation by the injection of a chemical solution and that pushes out the chemical solution by a force caused by restoration of the pressurization and deformation; a flow rate control means that adjusts the flow rate of the chemical solution by resistance; a system cleaning port that includes a cleaning solution injection opening, a chemical solution filling opening, and a liquid discharging opening; and a case that contains therein said reservoir, said pressurization deformation means, and said system cleaning port. The case has openings respectively in the vicinity of the chemical solution filling opening, the system cleaning injection opening, and the chemical solution discharging opening. The chemical solution being filled is filled into the pressurization deformation means from the chemical solution filling opening of the reservoir, and moves from the chemical solution discharging opening of the reservoir to the exterior of the container via the flow rate control means. A cleaning solution is injected from the injection opening of the cleaning port arranged downstream from the flow rate control means, and moves to the exterior of the container. The pressurization-type drug injector having a drug exposure preventive function is characterized in that the periphery of the cleaning port is completely covered by a sterile seal, and thus, the cleaning port injection opening is kept clean until use.
Telescopic Plunger for Minimizing Human Breast Milk Fat Loss in a Combination Collection Container and Syringe
An apparatus includes a telescopic plunger extending between a proximal end and a distal end. The telescopic plunger includes a plurality of telescoping segments. The plurality of telescoping segments are secured together in an end-to-end configuration and expandable between a collapsed position and an expanded position. The apparatus further includes a collection container secured to the distal end of the telescopic plunger. The collection container defines a barrel having at least one inner wall. The collection container is configured to hold a liquid containing fat molecules therein. As such, a distal-most telescoping segment of the plurality of telescoping segments of the telescopic plunger is configured to sweep the inner wall(s) of the collection container to remove the fat molecules from the inner wall(s) of the collection container.
MEDICATION VIAL COVERS
Covers for vial containers are described. The cover can include at least one side and an end. The at least one side and the end can form a cavity configured to receive a portion of a vial. The cover further includes an identifier located on the end of the cover. The identifier can include a shape associated with a particular medication. Such arrangements can assist visually impaired users in quickly and easily identifying the types of medication in a particular vial.
MEDICAL RUBBER STOPPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEDICAL RUBBER STOPPER
The present invention aims to provide a medical rubber stopper that is excellent in chemical resistance and airtightness while having good productivity. The present invention relates to a medical rubber stopper including: a disk-shaped head portion with a flange region; and a cylindrical leg portion protruding from the lower surface of the head portion and having a smaller diameter than the head portion, the lower surface of the flange region and the leg portion being laminated with an inert film, the lower surface of the flange region and/or the outer periphery of the leg portion being provided with an annular groove through which the base rubber is exposed.
Eye Drop Container Having Identifying Indicia
Provided is an eye drop container having superior identifying power. The eye drop container includes an identifying indicium including a shape, a pattern, a color or combination thereof imparted to a lateral face of a container body, and a further identifying indicium identical or similar to the identifying indicium imparted to a lateral face of a cap part which is detachably attached to a dispensing mouth of the container body, the indicia making it possible to identify the unity of the container body and the cap part. The container is packaged by a sealing label that renders these identifying indicia visible when the cap part is attached to the container body.
Drug vial safety device
A drug vial safety device, including a cover that is securable to a drug vial is disclosed. The cover at least partially encloses at least a neck and a lid of the drug vial. The cover includes a port having a shape that restricts syringe access to the vial through the port to a syringe shaped to be compatible with the port shape.
