SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POSITIONING FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM
Fluid supply systems and methods for therapeutic fluid delivery systems, including those used for negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) systems and methods.
METHOD FOR PROTECTING TUBING
A method for protecting tubing protruding from a container, in particular a bottle, containing a pharmaceutical fluid. The method includes providing the container filled with the pharmaceutical fluid, from which the tubing protrudes, and providing a layer of foam and/or a body of foam surrounding the tubing, preferably in its entirety, with a shell such that the layer of foam and/or body of foam is interposed between the tubing and the shell. A body of the container remains outside of the shell, attaching the shell to the container, and freezing the container and the shell surrounding the tubing.
Carrier for carrying a container of medically useful solution or suspension
A supple carrier for carrying a container of medically useful solution or suspension. The supple carrier includes a first monitoring window providing a first visualization perspective of the container contained by the envelope and one or more adjustable pressurizers. The supple carrier can delay the temperature change of the medically useful solution or suspension carried by the carrier.
Multi-mix infusion bag
A multi-mix infusion bag is provided. The multi-mix infusion bag includes a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion has a lower chamber and the upper portion includes a plurality of chambers. Each chamber is separated and contains a fluid agent. The multi-mix infusion bag is configured to transfer each fluid agent within each chamber of the upper portion into the lower chamber for mixing. The multi-mix infusion bag may include dispensing devices associated with each chamber, wherein the dispensing devices operate to transfer the fluid agents into the lower chamber for mixing.
BODILY FLUID DRAINAGE ASSEMBLY
A bodily fluid drainage assembly can include a fluid bag and one or more covers. The assembly can include one or more volume indicators from which an approximate volume of a bodily fluid that is retained within can be ascertained. In some arrangements, a cover includes a volume indicator that defines an opening through which a transparent or semitransparent portion of the bag can be viewed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPENING A CONCENTRATE CONTAINER AND CONNECTING THE CONCENTRATE CONTAINER TO A BLOOD TREATMENT DEVICE
The present invention refers to a system and method for opening a concentrate container without the need for a human to directly handle the concentrate container and connecting the concentrate container to a blood treatment device. Aspects of the invention are directed to a container for concentrate and a blood treatment device.
WEARABLE INTRAVENOUS FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
An intravenous (IV) fluid delivery system include an IV bag and a fluid delivery device. The IV bag is made of many fluidic channels that keep the fluid distributed across the bag such that the bag may be easily and comfortably wrapped around the arm and shoulder of a person. At least some of the fluidic channels have a slanted shape to maximize emptying the contents of the IV bag as the fluid is injected to the patient's vein. The system includes a pump that moves the fluid into a tube and a needle that is connected to a person's vein. The processor repeatedly turns the pump on or off to gradually transfer the fluid from the IV bag into the person's vein. The processor controls the delivery of the fluid based on the patient's biometric data and/or hand movements as measured by the fluid delivery device.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING DEVICE
A beverage dispensing device, including a main body to store at least one beverage therein, a liquid tube disposed at a first end on at least a portion of the main body to direct the at least one beverage away from the main body, and a dispensing valve disposed on at least a portion of a second end of the liquid tube to dispense the at least one beverage in response to an application of force thereto.
Medical bag hanger and blood collection device package
Provided is a medical bag hanger that hangs a plurality of bags of a blood sampling line set. The medical bag hanger includes a hanger main body that is hangable on a blood component separation device. The hanger main body includes a hook unit on which the plurality of bags is hooked, and a base plate on the surface of which the plurality of bags of the blood sampling line set are arranged side by side.
Enteral feeding system
A dispensing cap comprising a grasping body, a spout engaging bore and a dispensing coupling. The dispensing coupling has a dispensing cap coupled thereto through a tether. A pouch assembly is likewise disclosed, as is a process of enteral feeding with a pouch and a dispensing cap attachable to the spout. The dispensing cap can be provided and attached to a spout of a pouch (upon removal of a filling cap) wherein the dispensing cap may be provided in a sterilized bag or pouch prior to use. Methods and processes are likewise disclosed.
