PORT, AND MEDICAL LIQUID BAG
An object is to provide a port that is capable of securely preventing pulling-out of a sealing plug from a port body. Provided is a port including: a sealing plug through which a hollow needle can be pierced; a port body having a hollow structure with the sealing plug disposed therein; and a pulling-out preventing member to be attached to the port body. The port body includes: a part to be sealed that has a tubular shape with a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, and is configured so that the sealing plug is sealingly inserted into the part to be sealed; a connection part that has a tubular shape, is continuous with the first end of the part to be sealed, and has an outer periphery connected to the bag body to be filled with a medical liquid; and a part to be fitted that is formed in any one of an inner peripheral surface of the part to be sealed, an outer peripheral surface of the part to be sealed, and the second end of the part to be sealed. The pulling-out preventing member includes: a body part that has a first surface directed toward the first end of the part to be sealed within the part to be sealed; a restriction part that is formed on the first surface of the body part and restricts movement of the sealing plug toward the second end of the part to be sealed; and a fitting part that comes into fitting engagement with the part to be fitted of the port body.
PACKAGED, SEALED CONTAINER SYSTEM FOR STABLE STORAGE OF AN OXYGEN SENSITIVE PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION
A packaged, sealed container system for stable storage of a formulation of an oxygen-sensitive pharmaceutical compound, the packaged, sealed container system comprising a primary container including therein a formulation of an oxygen-sensitive pharmaceutical compound, a secondary outer container comprising a first flexible sheet layer, an opposing second flexible sheet layer, and a seal disposed along a common peripheral edge of the first and second flexible sheet layers, such that the primary container is disposed between and enclosed by the first and second flexible sheet layers of the secondary outer container. An oxygen scavenger is also disposed between and enclosed by the first and second flexible sheet layers of the secondary outer container. The oxygen scavenger is in fluid communication with the contents of the primary container.
PORT CONFIGURATIONS FOR A FLUIDS CONTAINER
A container closure is provided for use in dispensing fluids from a container, and includes a base constructed and arranged for being attached to a mouth of the container, a first port disposed on the base and in fluid communication with the mouth, a second port disposed on the base in fluid communication with the mouth, and the first and second ports being visually differentiated from each other.
MULTI-CHAMBER BAG FOR PARENTERAL NUTRITION SOLUTIONS
A flexible multi-chamber bag for storing and reconstituting parenteral nutrition solutions is disclosed. The flexible multi-chamber bag comprises two first peelably sealing walls between the two polymer films extending from the top edge to the bottom edge and separating the first bag into a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber, wherein the first chamber is between the second chamber and the third chamber; and at least one of the two first peelably sealing walls split into a second plurality of second peelably sealing walls and the second plurality of the second sealing walls sealed to the bottom edge to form a fourth chamber.
INJECTION SITE WITH A MEMBRANE AND A LEAK-FREE REMOVABLE PROTECTION
A medical device for transferring a fluid from a pharmaceutical flexible container is disclosed. The medical device comprises a top part, a center part, a breakable zone between the top part and the center part and an insert part. The insert part comprises a third enclosure enclosing a second tunnel; and the top side of the third enclosure comprising a membrane, wherein a top surface of the membrane seals the third opening of the second enclosure.
MULTI-CHAMBER BAG FOR PARENTERAL NUTRITION SOLUTIONS
A flexible multi-chamber bag for storing and reconstituting parenteral nutrition solutions is disclosed. The flexible multi-chamber bag comprises a first peelably sealing wall and a second peelably sealing wall between the two polymer films extending from the top edge to the bottom edge and separating the first bag into a first chamber between the first peelably sealing wall and the second peelably sealing wall, a first space between the left edge and the first peelably sealing wall, a second space between the second peelably sealing wall and the right edge; a third peelably sealing wall extending from the left edge to the first peelably sealing wall to separate the first space to form a third chamber and a fourth chamber; and a fourth peelably sealing wall extending from the right edge to the second peelably sealing wall to separate the second space to form a second chamber and a fifth chamber.
DEVICE FOR EXTENDING A FILM AND FOR WELDING THE FILM TO A CONNECTION PART HAVING AN AXIAL DIRECTION, AND METHOD, PRODUCTION METHOD, SYSTEM, AND BAG
The invention relates to a device for welding a connection region of a film to a connection part having an axial direction. In the case of conventional devices, there is the risk of steep workpiece edges causing uncontrolled weak spots in the film and in the weld seam. According to the invention, the film is extended in a controlled manner such that the film has a length reserve. The film is extended in such a way that the film has a deformation cross-section that runs out such that the deformation is not visible on the final product. In this connection, the invention further relates to a use of a film, to a method for welding, to a method for producing bags, to a system for producing bags, and to a bag.
Multiple dose vial and method
A vial for storing multiple doses of a substance to be dispensed into one or more syringes or other delivery devices. The vial has a body, a variable-volume storage chamber within the body for storing multiple doses of the substance therein, and a one-way valve connectable in fluid communication with a syringe or other delivery device. The one-way valve is moveable relative to the body between first and second positions (i) one of which permits the valve to open so that substance from the variable-volume storage chamber can flow therethrough and into the syringe or other delivery device connected in fluid communication therewith, and (ii) one of which prevents the valve from opening.
Female enteral coupling
A container for collecting, transporting, storing, delivering and dispensing fluid. The container has a hollow tube with an outer circumference diameter and is configured to receive a plunger. A collection adaptor and a dispensing adaptor provide interchangeable coupling of a variable volume container such as a syringe with a collection device such as a breast pump and a dispensing device such as a nipple. The container also has a circumferential seal assembly secured at one end of the hollow tube. The seal assembly outer diameter is substantially similar to the hollow tube outer diameter.
COLONOSCOPY PREP BAG AND METHODS OF USE
The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition of polyethylene glycol in solid powder form contained within a polymer bag having an opening. The invention also provides a method for administering a pharmaceutical composition of polyethylene glycol in solid powder form. The method includes providing a polymer bag containing the pharmaceutical composition of polyethylene glycol and adding a fluid to the bag. The polymer bag has a threaded spout and a cap threadably mountable to the spout. The threaded spout forms a passageway to an interior volume of the bag.
