DUAL FUNCTION ABSORBING AND COOLING TEXTILE
20200385901 · 2020-12-10 ·

Disclosed herein is a warp knit spacer dual functional fabric construction that provides the ability to absorb sweat on one side and the ability to cool skin to below a current temperature whether wetted or dry on the other side. The knit uses four separate yarns which collectively work together to produce enhanced cooling. Knits can include warp knit spacer and circular knit spacer materials. Various finishing methods may also be employed to enhance the cooling power of the fabric.

Filter medium, method for manufacturing same, and filter module comprising same

A filter medium is provided. A filter medium according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a fiber web layer of a three-dimensional network structure including nanofiber; and a hydrophilic coating layer which covers at least a part of the outer surface of the nanofiber. According to this, a flow rate can be remarkably increased due to the improved hydrophilicity of the filter medium. Also, as the improved hydrophilicity is maintained for a long period of time, the lifespan can be remarkably prolonged. Furthermore, since the modification of a porous structure of the filter medium is minimized during the process of hydrophilization so that the initially designed physical properties of the filter medium can be exhibited in its entirety, the filter medium having chemical resistance, excellent water permeability and durability can be variously applied in the water treatment field.

THERMOELECTRIC FLEXIBLE MAT

A thermoelectric flexible mat may include a first large surface and a second large surface. The mat may also include a plurality of p-doped elements and a plurality of n-doped elements disposed in an alternating manner with one another and electrically interconnected to a series circuit via a plurality of electrically conductive conductor bridges. The plurality of conductor bridges of the series circuit may be assigned, at least in regions, to the first large surface and the second large surface such that the first large surface defines a hot side and the second large surface defines a cold side. An absorptive absorption structure may connect the hot side and the cold side. The absorption structure may be structured and arranged such that any liquid present on the cold side is absorbable into the absorption structure and transportable to the hot side via the absorption structure.

Multi-effect woven fabric for energy harvesting and heat management

A multi-effect woven fabric for energy harvesting and heat management includes a combination of a predetermined number of yarns woven to each other in a repeating pattern. The yarns include a first yarn for absorbing, storing, and releasing heat energy through a phase change, a second yarn for converting heat energy from a wearer's skin, the first yarn, and a third yarn into far infrared radiation energy and radiating the far infrared radiation energy to other yarns and to the wearer's skin, the third yarn for absorbing moisture from the wearer's skin and/or ambient environment and generating heat energy through an exothermic process, and a fourth yarn with a hydrophobic property. The multi-effect woven fabric maintains a uniform temperature on the wearer's skin by a combination of heat energy generation, heat energy harvesting, and radiation of heat energy.
