DISPERSIBLE WIPES REINFORCED WITH A BINDING AGENT
Disclosed is a wet wipe, for example, a dispersible wet wipe. The wet wipe may include a base sheet comprising short length fibers; a dispersible binding agent reinforcing the base sheet; and a wetting lotion. The dispersible binding agent may be configured to bind the fibers of the base sheet when the dispersible wiper includes liquid at an amount of at most 400 wt % from the weight of the base sheet and to disperse in excess water if the amount of the water exceeds 500 wt %.
BEDDING FOR A MATTRESS
A bedding system including one or more bedding components is provided for use with a bed. The bedding component includes a fitted sheet, a top sheet, a pillow case and/or a comforter. The fabric panel forming the bedding component may include air vents integrated into the fabric panel. Additionally, the fabric panel may further include an activatable material integrated into and/or disposed in proximity with the fabric panel.
WATER SOLUBLE FIBERS WITH POST PROCESS MODIFICATIONS AND ARTICLES CONTAINING SAME
Methods of treating fibers comprising a polymer including at least one of a vinyl acetate moiety or a vinyl alcohol moiety, and resulting fibers or the products comprising the resulting fibers are disclosed. In an example embodiment, a fiber having a surface region and an interior region, includes a polymer comprising at least one of a vinyl acetate moiety or a vinyl alcohol moiety chemically modified with a modification agent. The fiber has a transverse cross-section including the interior region comprising the polymer having a first degree of modification and the surface region comprising the polymer having a second degree of modification greater than the first degree of modification.
In an example embodiment, a method of treating fibers includes contacting a surface of a fiber comprising the polymer with a modification agent to chemically modify at least a portion of the polymer with the modification agent in a region of the fiber comprising at least the surface of the fiber to form a modified fiber.
DISSOLVABLE THREAD AND ARTICLE CONTAINING SAME
A recyclable thread or yarn having a dissolvable fiber and an insoluble fiber is provided and incorporated into a woven article, garment or textile. The dissolvable fiber and the insoluble fiber are twisted to form the thread or yarn. The dissolvable fiber may be a synthetic water soluble polymer and may dissolve in water at between 60° C. and 100° C. The insoluble fiber may be cotton such as extra-long staple (ELS) cotton or Supima cotton. A process for recycling a woven article, garment or textile made with the recyclable thread or yarn is also provided. The process for recycling a woven article, garment or textile made with the recyclable thread or yarn includes subjecting the woven article, garment or textile in water to a condition to cause said dissolvable fiber to lose long range order to form a slurry or solution.
Knitted tissue scaffolds
Staple cartridge assemblies for use with surgical stapling instruments and methods for manufacturing the same are provided. Scaffolds for use with a surgical staple cartridge and methods for manufacturing the same are also provided.
Article having a knitted component with a strap
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article formed of a knitted component. The article may be an upper for an article of footwear. The knitted component may have a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a foot-receiving portion of the upper, where the second portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a strap of the upper, where the strap includes a first edge and a second edge secured to the first portion of the knitted component, and where the strap includes a third edge that extends from the first edge to the second edge.
KNITTED TISSUE SCAFFOLDS
Staple cartridge assemblies for use with surgical stapling instruments and methods for manufacturing the same are provided. Scaffolds for use with a surgical staple cartridge and methods for manufacturing the same are also provided.
Spacer textile having tie yarns of one or more lengths
Aspects herein are directed to a spacer textile comprising a first layer, a second layer, and a plurality of tie yarns that interconnect the first layer and the second layer. The spacer textile further comprises one or more discrete areas from which the first layer is absent along with a portion of the length of the tie yarns in those areas.
Graphic-Containing Soluble Articles and Methods for Making Same
Articles having a graphic thereon and methods for making same are provided.
