Magazine having solution bags for dialysis and method for filling same
The present invention relates to a magazine having a plurality of solution bags for dialysis received therein, wherein the plurality of solution bags are identical; wherein the plurality of solution bags are fixed in a stationary manner in an identical orientation at different, but identically designed holding positions of the magazine; and wherein the holding positions are configured such that the solution bags can be removed from the magazine. The invention furthermore relates to a method of filling the solution bags.
Sterile aqueous choline salt compositions
Disclosed are sterile aqueous choline salt compositions, their preparation, and methods of use. Also disclosed are methods to treat choline deficiency, intestinal failure associated liver disease (IFALD), and fatty liver disease. Additionally disclosed is a method of synthesis of choline salts.
Enteral bag system for nutritional composition
An enteral bag system constructed of two welded panels.
Collection liner
A collection liner for a medical or a surgical operation includes a closed flexible bag portion. The closed flexible bag portion has a width direction (W) and a length direction (L). The closed flexible bag portion includes an upper part of the bag portion in the length direction and a lower part of the bag portion in the length direction. The lower part of the bag portion is folded inside the upper part of the bag portion in such a manner that the entire lower volume of the lower part is upside down inside the upper part.
CONTAINER
A container for receiving a bag filled with a fluid, in particular a biopharmaceutical fluid, wherein connector tubing is attached to the bag. The container includes a dish portion and a lid portion, and the dish portion is divided into a main compartment of the container and a tubing compartment of the container. The lid portion includes a main portion, a tubing portion, and a hinge between the main portion and the tubing portion, and the hinge is adapted to allow for an opening of the tubing portion while the main portion remains closed, such that the bag remains protected in the main compartment while the connector tubing in the tubing compartment is accessible from the outside.
Container consisting of plastic material, and method for producing a container of this type
A container of plastic material is produced using the blow, fill and seal method, with the filler material, enclosed by a container wall (15, 20) that can be autoclaved. At least one shape (19, 21, 23, 25, 29, 33) is provided in the container wall (15, 20) that ensures, despite a low relative air volume in the container, that when administering the filler material by infusion, the container wall (15, 20) collapses at least partially reducing the volume, without aeration of the container.
Reconstitution device for IV fluids and method of use
A system is provided for storage and reconstitution of IV solutions. The system may include one or more storage and reconstitution devices each configured to store and manipulate IV solution containers containing IV solutions in crystalline form that include hydration chemicals and therapeutic drugs. Crystalline hydration chemicals may include crystalline salts and sugars. The containers may be dimensionally precise enough for mechanical manipulation and configured such that sharp objects such as needles are not needed for fluid delivery to or from the container. Each storage and reconstitution device may store stacked containers and may include components for retrieval of a container from the storage and for reconstitution of the contents therein using a sterile water source within the device. IV doses may be manufactured, under appropriate standards, that can be mechanically reconstituted to produce high-quality doses in real time on the patient care unit or in the pharmacy.
HAND-HELD FLUID TRANSFER DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A disposable transfer device has an injection device support surface for receiving an on-body injection device thereon and a flow path arrangement for transfer of fluid into the injection device, the transfer device being configured to define preferential gripping areas for user gripping of an injection device when such device is located on the support surface and interfering areas for interfering with user gripping of the injection device in the interfering areas.
