Shaped nonwoven

A nonwoven fabric is provided. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein at least one of the surfaces has a TS7 value of less than about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms, and wherein the first surface has a TS7 value that is higher than the second surface TS7 value.

Knit garment with reduced seams

A knit garment comprises a seamless, tubular torso section, a shoulder section knit continuously with the torso section along a front surface, and a single, continuous seam affixing the shoulder section to the torso section along a width of the upper back of the garment. Such a garment can be made by continuously knitting a double-layer web, interlooping the layers of the web to one another to forma central tube, severing the web, trimming material from the first layer of the double layers, folding the second layer over itself toward the first layer, and affixing the second layer to the first layer.

Bias tooth fabric and toothed power transmission belt

A cover fabric for a power transmission belt, the fabric woven from warp yarns and weft yarns; the warp yarns and weft yarns each plied from a first filament yarn and a second filament yarn; the first filament yarn comprising higher tensile strength fibers than the second filament yarn; and the fabric woven in a modified twill pattern. A toothed belt with the cover fabric on the teeth, oriented on a bias, with the fabric having a bias angle less than 90.

Shaped nonwoven

A nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, and wherein in at least one of the microzones, the first region is hydrophobic and the second region is hydrophilic.

Bio-based degradable knitted fabric with antibacterial effect

A biodegradable antibacterial knitted fabric, a cross section of the knitted fabric includes a front side of cross section made of wool short fiber yarns, an intermediate connection layer of cross section capable of transferring moisture and a rear side of cross section made of antibacterial filaments; the intermediate connection layer of cross section is made of filament yarns having a special shape capable of being inserted into the front side of cross section and the rear side of cross section so that the front side of cross section is connected with the rear side of cross section. The biodegradable antibacterial knitted fabric proposed by the present application has a long time significant antibacterial effect by adopting a cross section structure with three layers and antibacterial material, and does not contain any antimicrobials and metal ions, and has the advantages of low cost, easy manufacturing and long lasting antibacterial effect.

SINGLE SIDED HYDROPHILIC NONWOVEN FABRIC WITH HIGH TENSIBLE STRENGTH AND CSR WRAP MADE THEREFROM
20240092059 · 2024-03-21 ·

The present application discloses a single sided hydrophilic nonwoven fabric with high tensile strength and a CSR wrap made therefrom, wherein the single sided hydrophilic nonwoven fabric has a spunbonded/meltblown/spunbonded (SMS) structure consisting of a top spunbonded layer, a middle meltblown layer and a bottom spunbonded layer, wherein one side of the nonwoven fabric is hydrophilic, and the other side of the nonwoven fabric is hydrophobic.

ARTICLE COMPRISING A KNIT ELEMENT

A customized, flat-knit multi-zonal element for a shoe upper and a method of producing such an element that allows for continuous knitting while controlling positioning of individual threads. One or more carriages may move continuously along the needle bed while threads are provided to the needles for a complete stroke. Knit elements may include multiple zones with differing properties. Threads may alter positions within knit structures from zone to zone. A knit element may include a first zone in a first plane that includes at least two merged threads to form a merged knit structure and a second zone in a second plane connected to the first zone seamlessly. Some knit structures may be positioned throughout the knit element such that they control a position of zones relative to each other.

DOUBLE-SIDED THERMOSTATIC FABRIC AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
20240044071 · 2024-02-08 · ·

A double-sided thermostatic fabric and a preparation method thereof are provided. The preparation method includes: preparing a light-reflecting heat-insulated fiber (namely a second fiber), and performing laser etching on a surface of the light-reflecting heat-insulated fiber to obtain a helical fiber, the helical fiber having good light reflection and heat reflection, and serving as an outer layer of the fabric; preparing a modified hemp fiber, the modified hemp fiber having good unidirectional moisture conduction and heat conduction, and serving as an inner layer of the fabric; and compositing the inner layer and the outer layer by connecting a back warp to a face weft, thereby forming the double-sided fabric. By modifying a surface structure of the fiber and performing modification on the fiber, the prepared fabric can realize temperature reduction through heat radiation and unidirectional moisture conduction in hot weathers, and realize heat preservation through heat reflection in cold weathers.
